  1. For me it has to be the Accies. My Mum is from Hamilton and if she hadn't moved to Motherwell after marrying my Dad lots of years ago then I may have been an Accie. So it isn't that I want or need to beat them it is more of what might have been, stuck supporting a team that will never amount to anything more than merely making up the numbers. So thanks for moving Mum.
  2. A good all round team performance. Jim O'Brien was the best man on the park by a country mile!!
  3. Made him take it again and he missed
  4. Got it back. Had to come out of ATDHE.Net and go back in
  5. Haven't got mine yet, Pony Express hasn't even reached deepest darkest Netherton yet!
  6. Rather than building a new staduim I would buy all the houses in Fir Park Street (as we did before) and complete the Phil stand as it should be, renovate the other stands, bring in a decent P.A. system including the 'personality' with the mic. Instruct the stewards that they must give opposing fans only a hard time and tell them to sit down and shut up. With the infrastucture complete and secure throw loads of money at the playing side and sit back and watch all the fair weather 'Well fans make their way back to Fir Park to watch the best and most exciting football in Britain not just Scotland at a knock down price. I will of course be watching all of this from my private executive box where only the choosen few will be invited. This will only be possible if my wife lets me
  7. Setanta are repoting that there has been no contact between Shellic and West Brom about Mowbray so this whole thing about where McGhee is going is still in the melting pot be it the tattie pickers or the sheep shaggers. This really needs sorted quickly, we are playing a Europa tie in less than four weeks. Come on Boyle get off of your arse and find out (or let everyone know) what the manager is planning. I want MMG to stay but it cannot be beneficial to the team if there is any uncertainty about who is going to be in charge.
  8. No surprise that we haven't seen Ryan at Fir Park that much this season then!
  9. Wow 18 years!! The only cup run that I have been at every single tie, I daren't miss a third / fourth tie now, just in case. Great day loads of memories I was there with all my mates but I also knew my dad (who was at the '52 final) and sister were also somewhere in the crowd. Getting back to Motherwell via the train into the Electric for a couple of pints then up to Fir Park and actually missed the players but on to Sunday and the open top bus. Not just one day but four months of great and unforgettable memories.
  10. Thanks East Stand Al. Only problem is pay day is the 29th so if the online system goes down then I'm fecked for the 10% discount
  11. Flow, I have received my renewal letter and thinking back I have received all postal letters sent by the club, am I in the minority? Can the club not email all communiques to those that give email address' rather than depend on the Post Office? Anyway what I was really meaning to ask is I am planning to renew online during the Bank Holiday weekend (after pay day) will the system be expected to be fully operational or will it be offline? If it does go down will there be anyone available to sort it and failing this will the ticket office be open on the Monday?
  12. The problem with all the analysis KMAC is that it doesn't take into consideration how much money will be available. Of the players leaving do you really think we will receive fees for them, probably not. Add into that the dismal cup runs, missing out on the top six and the revenue that it brings and the biggest one of all the fact it is going to cost an estimated £250,000 to get the pitch fixed properly. So I agree that changes have to be made but I believe that there may be players leaving but money won't be available to bring in the players we would want and need!!!
  13. I'll be back. Think of the altenatives, shopping with the wife, or sitting in the house probably with the radio on to hear how things are going at the game. We are 'Well fans and should be used to what happened today and as these boards show we all know how to vent our feelings when expectations are raised only to be dashed. C'mon the 'Well let the young guns have a big part in the remaining fixtures
  14. Without doubt I will be renewing for season 2009-2010. There could be a case made for a reduction in prices. Mainly down the amount of games that are Setanta nowadays and also the inititives like a £5 to get in for the St. Mirren game. So never mind the recession if the club don't sort out these issues it would be an easy decision for anyone feeling the pinch to not invest in the club by buying their usual seat.
  15. Surprised Richard Offiong doesn't get a look in For me it has to be Dougie Arnott, I just like nippy wee bite your ankles get in amongst the big bully centre halves type of player. Not to mention being able to stick the ball in the net and played with all his heart

Don't think there was such a thing as Man of the match for us today as most if not all of them were posted missing. My vote goes to Smith for a couple of saves that 'saved' us a point
  17. Get in there. Europe here we come!!!
  18. Well done Clarky. Is he now stepping up to the number one stirker role after MacDonald left and now Porter has gone too? Here's to the next fifty David.
  19. Klimpl is the man! One man defence but yesterday against the Accies he was a one man midfield until he hobbled off. McGhee must find a way to get him signed on a permanent.
  20. Is this not what the subs are doing during half time !!!!!!!!
  21. think he needs a hat that fits him otherwise it will keep falling, just like he used to fall on his arse all the time
