I was privileged to have been a good friend and he was right naturally footed but his left was also better than most players.

Joe Wark was also right footed but was also good with his left.

Skippy tried his heart out caught offside continually plying up front after playing deeper all season.

I think you can also put Faddy in that category, the reason these teams are beating us is that they play as a team and the defenders are willing to put there self in front of anything that's coming their way. As far as the senior players are concerned none can say they've had a good season, McManus :constantly gives the person he's marking yards of space so they can gather the ball and turn. Hammell best left back we've got by a country mile but passing some times suspect. Pearson genuine box to box player who recently seems disinterested with the role he has been given, Lasley 100% guy who's main fault is trying to hard stick to your own job and do it well. Skippy dreadful start to the season but back to being integral in the team (match fitness has now been attained)

I thought Chris Cadden was excellent and couldn't understand taking him off and leaving Pearo on as he looked disinterested most of the afternoon.

I've got a sneaking suspicion that McManus and Law will play out their skins today, and if that is the case it will then be proved they were non tries for IB. If this does happen they should both be binned, personally I would never have any of the two of them near the park as between them they have been culpable for most of our defeats this season.

I take it you were not at the game today while I agree Laing has his faults McMinging beside him is a disaster hardly tried a leg until the last 10 minutes Law a complete fraud of a player even Hammy was unsettled today and didn't play well (put that down to not Knowing what big Mick was going to do) Midfield seemed to try but almost everything bypassed them, Las had a great last 10 mins (pity about the rest). Skippy seems to have lost the concept of passing to your own player, Lionel and Moult tried hard as did young Dom who got absolutely no protection from the referee. Grimshaw changed the game coming on for a useless right back and ending up orchestrating our goal from left mid.(should have started the game}
