Who Me?????? C'Mon Luc Nijholt -
My thoughts here are initially........... we were absolutely rubbish today and I was significantly disgruntled leaving the ground, thinking ( out loud sometimes) what the hell has gone wrong. Then I got to thinking back on times when Hibs and Partick thistle were in the intertoto cup , their seasons got off to a flyer as ours did but they quickly burned out around the turn of the year. Is this the cause of our form dip? who knows but I hope we get it sorted hopefully at tynecastle

Motherwell Vs Celtic-score Predictions,team Line-up

Surely you mean third! don't you ? third defeat to only the second team to beat us -
But that was not his SPL debut, that was in a cup game. This game was Bob's SPL debut start.
-
1/ I assume he meant that it was Bob's starting debut as he has only come on as a sub in previous games 2/ I agree, a glaring ommission regarding young Jamie As for his report, it wasn't far off the mark as they did outplay us several times and he did give credit where it was due He praised Ruddy and our youngsters and stated that :- "Despite the defeat Gannon was happy with Well - and rightly so. He picked a young side and they made the Hoops work extremely hard for their victory." I think "the boys done good" bring on the bluenoses.

This could go any one of three ways 1/ The fog will beat us 2/ We will get beat 4/5 nil picking up four yellows and a red card 3/ hammer them. -
ok I don't really care what the minority shout about, the bottom line is that Our troops were sent into Iraq to do a job, they did it and now they have left . I supported them then and I support them now and applaud them. I observed the silences on remembrance Sunday and on the 11th. and have done regularly since 1964 I am closer to the end of my life than most of you are from the beginning of yours but in my time I have seen military service in Belize, through the Falklands war and The Kuwait conflict I just hope that our troops are not required to come and defend you, at any time ,you'll probably turn your back on them
-
The facts can be used to show a lot, there was no war declared against Iraq or it's regime but the minority still insist it was a war! WMD ... just because they haven't found the warheads doesn't mean they don't exist, they found the delivery methods and already know the Saddam has used chemical warfare on the Kurdish people of North Iraq again the only war declared was on terror
-
There was no Illegal war against Iraq! Show me anywhere it that "Independent" report that we were at war with the people of Iraq, or indeed Iraq! Nobody is denying that the government got it wrong regarding intelligence reports nor the fact that they followed the Americans into Iraq along with several other United Nations countries but we never ever declared war on Iraq or its peoples , the only war declared was on terror! Sadly a few Iraqis died whilst the bombing and shelling took place and this is deeply regrettable but the objective was set and achieved, the removal of Saddam Hussein, his corrupt government and police force. A new democracy was put in place, a new Police force was trained up and a new infrastructure set, all whilst the terrorist insurgents set about bombing the innocent Iraqis and our forces, as well as them having to deal with the muslim factions all fighting each other to gain control. To this effect, our troops did excellently. Anyway I wouldn't really put any faith into what the " Independent" report or the Guardian for that matter.

The problem with this topic , much the same as the steelmenonline topic, is that there are too many juvenile folk with infantile mentalities ( you know who you are) and too many adults with the same juve/infantile outlooks ( you know who you are too ). You all think that it is jolly good fun to hurl abuse and lies at decent folks which is bad enough but when it comes to showing support for our own armed forces you shun them! Then you all listen to pop stars who want to save the world and "comedians" who use anything to raise a laugh then fall behind the words of the growling minority and shout off about an illegal war, there was no "illegal war" in Iraq. Our troops were over there on a policing mission to remove a tyrant and his corrupt government . We were never at "war " with the Iraqis ,they invited us and welcomed us into their country to help them. Tha casualties that we received were down to insurgents from the terrorist cells and Iraqi deaths were down to the infighting between the differing muslim factions fighting for power, which has been happening for years but we don't hear about it because we're not there!

Absolutely yes, it was also a cup game nil points so that makes it 6 points from 12 ,no defeats
-
Well as my son has pointed out to me, v ICT 3-2 win v Rangers 0-0 draw v Hearts 1-0 win v Hamilton 2-2 draw v Sheep 1-1 draw 9 points from 15 so not too bad this season but I heartily agree that we have been garbage in past seasons at this , more often than not losing to 10 men
-
Good stuff well done to all concerned
-
Cannae remember the date but it was in black and white ........... late 50's I was 7 0r 8so it must have been 56/57. it was a reserve game at Fir Park with the 'Well gubbing East Fife 6-2
-
Did we not have a goal chopped off and missed two penalties?
-
Damn right, the worst poultry I've seen come out of there

Why doesn't someone petition the club, point out that the "seated rule" is only a guideline then ask them nicely to remove the seats from both ends of the East Stand to allow standing sections ? I personally am at the stage in life where it is easier for me to sit than stand and it really pisses me of when folks insist on standing in front of me and I can't see whats going on , so if there was standing sections then these good folks could piss of to these areas OR everyone could just sit in their seats and be perfectly quiet ,ie:- not shout, clap ,jeer, sing, stand etc., as a protest against the stewards! The directors and team would surely notice

Can't recall us ever playing well against ten men for a long time, we always seem to struggle
-
Maybe this has something to do with the departed keeper coach
