At least he sees there is a problem. Obviously there are questions about why it takes until 75 minutes to make a sub when we are playing with 7 men but small steps.

Yip I think this is an issue. I don't think we can afford to have a DM, Turnbull and Campbell and two attacking wingers. We needed someone who can play one of the wide attacking roles but also tuck in and help the midfield to give us more balance. The other massive issue is as GazzyB said you can't play any football these days without full backs who can pass and we have two atrocious footballers at fullback. Every opponent knows this and it allows them to crowd our midfield.

We mainly need a 9 who can hold the ball up and bring in Turnbull and the wingers like Main during the Hastie purple patch. White battles away but you can see he's a lower league player and his tricks don't work on Premiership defenders or refs.

Campbell and Mugabi were decent. Seedorf and Turnbull contributed. The rest of them tho....

More pish.

White is reminiscent of Paul Keegan. Either fouls his man or falls over.

Robinson has a short temper has mentioned multiple times he didn't make many friends as a player because he thought his team mates were thick. I could see Watt pissing him off.

FTFY

We have three defenders who are not top league players in the back four.

How can we be so bad at bringing on guys who are standing ready to come on. What can possibly be in that book?

Had to make loads of subs in preseason but can't make any now.

Grimshaw miles out of position. Unbelievable that Robinson rates him.

Compare what we are getting from White to Kabamba for Killie on Saturday. Just a lazy signing.

Great finish from wee Al. Madness leaving him out on the opening day.

White makes Bowman look like Bergkamp.

4-3-3 Long wide right.

Long and White giving us nothing up top.

Good composure from Sherwin. Great touch and finish by Turnbull. Lamie is a diddy. Ahead for a minute lol

Let's hope scoring against your old team works in our favour for a change.

I don't think so. We are stuck with 4-3-3 for the foreseeable future as we need Campbell, Turnbull and a defensive mid in the team. The problem so far has been full backs who can't pass the ball and a front three that doesn't link with each other or the midfield. That makes us very easy to defend against and allows teams to crowd Turnbull. I'd bring in Watt to hold the ball up and Hylton because he can actually play the left attacker role even if he's hit or miss. If he plays Long in the same role again we'll be heading to about the fourth time Robinson has faced a must win game against Accies to keep his job.

I never rated Rab Shannon back then but we could do with now!

It just feels like a potential banana skin at the moment. Without the prospect of a big home crowd or an away trip there's not much to get excited about.

With our form Barry Town or Glentoran will be a challenge.

Grimshaw's defending was criminal at that goal.

Hartley had a great win/loss record last season. Trying to cut the wages of Tait who has covered two positions for three years is the height of stupidity. We still have a strong squad but it'll take some organization and some actual coaching of the front three to get results
