  1. We should ask the blue order... or whatever they are called. They have had some pretty decent card displays in the past. And im sure they will help us in making as much atmosphere against 'them'.

    Worth a go maybe

  2. who are "proper" fans? I'm not for violence or anything like that, but if these guys are going to games then they're as much a proper fan as I or the rest of the attendees

Proper fans, fans that go to the games to actually watch the game... not to stare at the away fans. I watched a few of the mini muckers at the dundee cup game. At one point one of them had his back to the game and was playing with his phone most of the game. I want to get clear that im only talking about the wee 12-15 year old knobs that think their hard because they have watched green street 3 times. We all know the type

  3. I reckon just claret and amber strips on a card display. Keep it simple 4 verticle rows wide of each colour or something along the lines of that. However we need to make sure the sections that do it are full. Or it will look pathetic.

Simplicity is key here. Looking forward to it tho :)

  4. Well put it this way ..

3 of them young lads had CP company jackets on and ure talking £600 a peace !!

i am not defending them atoll just puting facts right that most people have wrong.

For the fighting part i cant argue it was wrong to do it in boozer..

how do you not know it may have been the st johnston lads giving them a hard time ?

because of what they were wearing etc ..

no because you assume its the '' little torags that cause it ''

they may have ended it but for all we know the st johnson lads may have started it ...

just hope no kids etc got hit in the crossfire in the pub that day !

Does it matter who started it? This behaviour is not justified no matter what causes it. Wee knobs giving our team a bad name. They should just go home and pull their plonker to the football factory and leave the proper fans to it.

  5. I have just sent a wee email to the guy who wrote that article.

    Dear Chris

How can your article (found at: http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/deserted-hampden-on-cards-1.1096181) be so factually inaccurate. Although Hampden may be less than full at the weekend, reporting that the teams have sold less than 5000 tickets between them is incorrect. Moments after your article was online, a spokesman from Motherwell stated that they have sold 6000 tickets and sales are still going strong.

I just thought I would bring your own incompetence to your attention.

    Cheers

I just dont understand how someone can base a professional article on facts that dont exist

  7. Get a grip and stop believing everything you read in the sun.

John Boyle has been one of the best things to ever happen to this club and if it wasnt for him we wouldnt be a club anymore.

Craig Brown is a horrible person, and i think him wanting £8k for us getting to the semis as a bonus for him just shows this.

Boyle is a buisness man, hes no soft touch. He wouldnt be a millionaire if he was.

    John Boyle :notworthy:

  8. When everyone thought Hutch was in trouble then he turned the accies player and played that amazing ball through to humph was one of the best pieces of play i have seen in a while. However i thought Gunning was outstanding throughout. I hope we can extend his contract

Jeffers and Forbes- would love to see him get a goal. That and his performance on tuesday night will give him confidence again... which he badly needs and will bring out the best in him.

  11. Ive posted this many times before. We are not barca. We do not win every week. Being a motherwell fan, for me, is about the highs and the lows.

If you dont want to support the team then fine. Away and watch Jeff on the telle.

I will be going to the games week in week out because I want to support our team when we are in need of it most.
