  2. Get a grip the lot of ye!

Yassin is better than Paul Quinn by a long way.

Give the guy a break. At the start of the season in games against rangers ect. he was outstanding. The man goes though a wee bad spell and you all want him out.

    Yassin...

  3. Ruddy

    Saunders Hutchinson Reynolds Hammell

    Humphrey Jennings Forbes O'Brien

    Sutton McHugh

Spot on WellArmy. I have the fear for this game as Hearts looked fairly good against Celtic. In saying that they are in the wrong half of the table due to their inability to score goals. 1-0 Well.

Moutaouakil has to be in, Only plays bad when he is not full back. And lucas for me has to be in. We cant judge the team and rip it to shreds on one bad night.

    For me:

    Ruddy

    Moutaouakil - Hutchinson - Saunders - Hammell

    Humphrey - Forbes - Coke - O'brien

    McHugh - Jutkiewicz

  4. I would have guessed at about 9,500 before today, so I wasn't very surprised. The hard core support remains fairly constant, and neutrals are less likely to fork out extra and go through the hassles of having to buy a ticket.

Of course, I'd like to see more 'Well fans turn out, but charging them extra when the game is on telly isn't the way to do it. The NFL has the right idea. They allow every game to be shown live nationwide, but if a team hasn't sold out their stadium, the television broadcast is blacked out within a 90 mile radius.

That is a good system... but would never in a million years work in scottish football. There sadly just isn't enough interest outside the old scum.

Look at the full ticket situation from JBs point of view... he can have high prices and say motherwell crowd of 4000, or he can half the prices and the fans will be happy. But will he double the support to make just as much money? I doubt it.

Its a sad state of affairs to be in and in my opinion the club are doing the best they can. But im sorry to say unless its a massive game (like when we played nancy) Motherwell will not pack fir park.

  5. Pre-season friendlies have been part of football for donkeys. They're seen by all the clubs as a way of sharpening up the players ahead of the competitive games. (I'm not thinking for a minute that everyone on here doesn't understand that)

So here's the conundrum - Go to them / don't go to them

Weigh up the cost / opportunity for a drink with friends / whether they're on yer season ticket or not etc etc. Then decide.

With the potential euro games, likewise - weigh up travel costs / importance to you / ticket price to get in - then go or don't go - It really is that simple.

I can't believe the moaning and groaning going on about the pre season / potential euro games.

If domestic competitive games are more your bag - then hang off until the big league kick off - Dawdle.

    Exactly.

I honestly cant believe people are moaning at the chance of European football again. But then again some people on here will moan at anything and everything
