  1. Thanks for the post about the game. I too was gutted, hard to take because we were far the better team and there was so much at stake. Have been totally depressed tonight, but we do have to move on as we always have to. Let's make up for it and give Celtic a good thrashing, that will be my consolation. Sick, but what can you do? Mon the 'Well, FOREVER.
  2. /\ LOL Here's hoping everybody has a great night cheering the lads onto victory. Mon the 'Well, you can do this.
  3. Wish I could be there for the atmosphere. I can just visualize Fir Park on Thursday night, the green grass, the floodlights on and the ground 3/4 full 15 minutes before kick off. Then, the ROOOOOOOOOAR that greets the boys in claret and amber as they appear out the tunnel will be heard throughout the town. From the get-go I hope everyone sings their lungs out and are hoarse cheering on the 'well to victory. Would bring a tear to your eyes that would.......... 'Mon yeeee 'Well
  4. Brilliant video of Hately's freekick on your reply. I saw that also on the MFC site that the game will not be televised. Motherwell supporters all over the country must get to Fir Park by all means on Thursday. If I was in Scotland there is nothing would stop me from being at FP for this game; it is probably the most important game we have ever played.
  5. Jamie Murphy now on for Humphrey. That's a lot of subs today.
  6. Haggis I'm listening to it here but it's by a proxy, so not sure about the open all mic: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/s...rem/6359437.stm
  7. This kind of reminds me of when we played St. Mirren at FP in the Cup and there was a lot of hype about the game. Astonishing but more than 28,000 packed Fir Park. So, I hope that the people of Lanarkshire turn out in record numbers for the 2nd leg and make it a night to remember.
  8. I have three words, pictures, pictures, pictures. Thank you!
  9. Oh I do verily hope that some pictures will be posted of the trip as I have yet to see any...
  10. Safe trip everybody and make Motherwell the pride of Scotland. Mon yeeeeeeeeeee 'Well.
  11. Well done that Motherwell fan, Thomas, Ole and our newest fans from Aalesund.
  12. Hope that they are made very welcome. Of course as you said, Motherwell has had decades to improve its town centre but it is much the same today as it was 30 years ago. Amazes me that the people of Lanarkshire have not made enough argument to get the council to make improvements. It disappoints me that the people have not forced change in all this time. Our town will look like a dump in comparison to Aalesund.
  13. With all due respect Daggad, our friend Mr. Bruce has been living in Aalesund for nearly a year and has seen your team play many times. On AAFK's current form, Motherwell should win the tie over the two legs, but it won't be easy. I like your stadium.
  14. I know the initial poster of this thread and he is a die hard Motherwell fan and a top-notch guy. Anyone considering traveling to Norway should read his post thoroughly because it contains a lot of important information. Mon yeeeeeee 'Well.
  15. Love the look of both the home and away. It' just a small point but I wish they could do the band all the way around, why is it so difficult? The way Craigan is holding the ball you don't notice it but it was pointed out in posts above. Could someone do a mock-up with the home and white shorts, just to see what it looks like?
  16. Great result, well done Motherwell, it's been a long time since we scored 3 at Ipox, if we ever have.
