He's done not too badly considering he's playing with a new team and he's been carrying a knock since the start of pre-season.

I think Higdon is a good player but for me in the pre season games and against Inverness he did nothing of any note ,if he plays today and plays well i will be delighted .Tough game today against Hearts 2-2 maybe.

Their new guy sounds confident...

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall:

"In Hearts we are up against a formidable outfit.

"They'll be in buoyant mood. At the moment, if you look at the squad in terms of depth, Hearts are stronger than Rangers.

"We also don't know what formation the new manager will play.

"But the bottom line is that it is about what we do."

Hearts manager Paulo Sergio:

"We are in big trouble because there are too many people injured.

"It's a big problem.

"Hopefully our medical staff can help us."

Can only be psychology at play. Heard his interview after their game on Thursday. Came across very well I thought and had a perfect grasp of English aside from two or three of the Radio Scotland team translating the "Paolo, Paolo. Geeze a wave" chants.

A slick surface should help our passing game....but I fear make it all the easier for Bambi on ice Templeton to go sprawling...
