In the last 30 years or so since Tommy McLean left we have had some good managers , and not so good ones

Butcher was one of my favourites simply because we were at rock bottom when he took that job. Remember our game at Killie when we won 4-1 and we didn't even know if we would have a team to support . Fast forward 2-3 years and we were again a force

Mark McGhee , his first season was excellent, and some of the football was a joy to watch . He handled Phil's passing the best he could have done. It was a mistake bringing the guy back in 2015 though in my opinion

Craig Brown gets definite pass marks for me and despite being disappointed at the way he left , I have long gotten over it. Brown and Knox (or Jack and Victor ) as they were known at the time did great that year

Robbo is another for me , always be greatful for the 2017-2018 season , and the 2 cup finals . Just a pity we played Celtic both times , otherwise I believe that could have been our time

Stuart McCall was consistent with us and we had a great few seasons , but there was that disappointment we should have done better in one off cup games

Mio and John fullobeens  - shame it only lasted 3 games but loved them both.:)

McCall was very good and I liked him a lot. But he had a lot more resource at his disposal than most Motherwell managers. Albeit, some have had similar resource and wasted it. We did have some very good times under his watch though.
