please please do eveything you can to avoid Lawrie Sanchez as your new manager he destroyed my lovely club he was an arrogant fool who signed poor players from dvisions below us for fortunes. His tactics were non existant other than hoof it up wimbledon style but he's not even clever enough to buy players with the skills to play that way... he will destroy your club and get you relegated as well as costing you a fortune. You will learn to hate him like i and all Fulham fans do.

I know for a fact that i speak for 95% of Fulham fans when I say that... the other 5% still genuinely think he is the worlds worst manager but are too nice to truely hate anyone.

Hmmm, what to bear in mind is that the warnings we were given about McGay proved true as well.... as Mon_da_well says, you don't beat spain and England by being shite, however McLiesh took Scotland to victory, and look what he did at Motherwell, International and Domestic are very different!

Right but he didnt beat spain and Italy the players did... Nothern Ireland dont have a lot of high level professional footbalers...the team picked itself... I didnt see any tactical brilliance in the wins either...

please trust me this is the sort of stuff we were saying when we signed him.

you need to understand just how bad he was...i know Fulham fans who have been going home and away for 50 years who say he is the worst manager they have ever seen. and we've had a fair few managers in the 20 odd years ive been going.

the bottom line for me is how the new manager intends to set up the team and manner in which the game will be played. Not much point in having a new shinny level playing field for the ball to be in the air 95% of the time.

Remember we were quick enough to warn other fans about Malpas, and those views about Mcghee's loyality were spot on. So i guess when you get any warning about Sanchez's ability it should not be ignored.

totally different....and Sanchez's weakest point were his signings...something he never needed to deal with in International football. i hope you dont have a lot of transfer activety to get done. He was at wycombe before I think and they hate him too!

He bought, Bouaza, Murphy, Healy, Konchesky, Camara, Hughes, Stefanovic, and Davis. Those were the same players that kept you up that season, the truth is Sanchez was very unlucky at Fulham. If I remember correctly it was draws that did for him rather than defeats. 6 draws out of seven matches including a 0-0 at Stamford Bridge and two 3-3's at the Cottage against Spurs and Man City. Fulham's worst defeat that season came after he left when Spurs hammered them 5-1. Sanchez was sacked purely down the league position Fulham found themselves in and it didn't change until late in the season, indeed Fulham took 9 points from their last 3 games to stay up.

Im am stealing this info from another forum but did he not sign the following players: David Healy, Paul Konchesky, Diomansy Kamara, Hamed Bouazza, Danny Murphy, Dejan Stankovic, Kasey Keller, Aaron Hughes, and Steven Davis. I think on a whole all of them have been decent signings. SI don't watch a lot of Fulham but the boy Konchesky looks really good.

What a dobber you really are. I'm sure the Fulham season ticket holder knows a bit more about it than you do.

If Dirty Sanchez became the new Motherwell manager I personally would be quite pleased with it, as a previous comment said.. you don't beat England and Spain if yer shite!

The only thing that is a little bit suspect is why would a manager with Premiership and International quality throw his name into the hat for the Motherwell job, surely if he fancied a bash at the SPL maybe he wouldve bashed his name about with Celtic or his he a proddy boy? lol

look if we listened to everyone else about who we should bring in either as managers or players we would be to scared to bring anybody into the club most players and managers are a gamble but you have got to take that chance so who ever we get lets get behind them as they will be our manager and no one else

I think we also have to remember the difference between being shite in the Premiership, and being shite in the SPL.

A manager from a struggling EPL side could quite feasibly be much better than a manager doing well in the SPL.

A McGhee/Levein/Calderwood side would be handed their arse on a plate on a weekly basis by most EPL sides, yet they are the best we have up here!

what an arrogant comment to tell me he was unlucky at Fulham... i dont mind people argueing that he might suit motherwell but to tell me the guys was unlucky...did you watch every game he managed? I did...Bouazza, Healy, Stefanovic and davis had no involvement in us staying up. literally none... i doubt any of them played more then 30 minutes after the january transfer window shut... Kamara scored two important goals at man city but didnt play much and when he did was woeful...he also cost 6 million pounds. he scored 1 goal under sanchez and played in almost every game. i know how we stayed up...and it was because of a total rehaul in tactics and players....

ofcourse it took a while to get thigns sorted you have NO Idea how much of a mess he caused.

because no one has offered him a job in a year after he spectacularly failed at Fulham. All the managers that give it the 'i've enjoyed my time off bit' generally just haven't been offered anything decent

The good news on this one is that we will have some insider knowledge. Crags will know what he is like and will be able to pass over some hints to JB. I know that it will be based on an International context but certainly in terms of motivation and style of play it should transfer.

He hasn't been offered the 'Well job neither.. he just threw his name into the hat! I also read somewhere that he has liked what he has seen in the SPL. My point was why didn't he go for the big fish of Celtic!! Maybe even he has realised he has been found out and isn't shooting as high, just a theory!

You beat me to it

David Healy, Paul Konchesky, Diomansy Kamara, Hamed Bouazza, Danny Murphy, Dejan Stankovic, Kasey Keller, Aaron Hughes, and Steven Davis.

He did, David healey wasn't particulary good but wasnt expensive...got sold to sunderland and is sitting on there bench instead of ours

Paul Konchesky...is a starter for us every week admittedly but was pretty dreadful untill he had a good manager governing him..he is still generally considered if you were forced to it at gunpoint the weakest part in the starting 11 but that doesnt mean he isnt a very good premiership player.

Diomansy kamara has been with us for a year and a half cost6.5 million and the jury is still out on him.... most people including me thought he was dreadful...west brom fans laughed all the way to the bank... but under Hodgson he has come on leaps and bounds...still fourth choice striker though....

Hamer bouazza has left...cost a lot of money lost the ball alot and was injured when we bleeding bought him and has been constantly since.

Kasey Keller did an ok job for us but was brought in as reserve keeper to niemi

aron hughes is fantastic but only since hodgson and hangeland came in...under snachez he and stefanovic who was pretty bad for us...madeup the centre backs for the worst defence in the premiership most of that season. Steven Davis was terrible at Fulham constantly gave the ball away and was so over priced thatd espite bein loaned to rangers for a whole season and being a key player in the re recent sucess there not prepared to pay 60% of what we payed for hima year before.

Murphy was a great signing but didn even play for us much under sanchez he brough him in on a free with about 10 hours of th transfer window left as we didnt have a big enough squad.

You also missed out a few other crocks inclduing Lee 'the invisable man' Cook who we bought off QPR was injured when we bought him stayed injured for a year and a half before we sold him back to QPR at half the price.

Also ...most of these players 50% of which weren't even in the premiership at the time were on sky high...

also you may notice 3 players there are from the NI international team and the rest are all premiership or championship players... so that shows you how much he knows about other leagues....though our scouting network can probably take some of the blame

As I said I was stealing the quote and don't watch alot of Fulham, unless they are playing Everton. Looks like it was all in vain anyway as he is not interested. I thought it would be too good to be true!!!!! So now the Sanchez thingy is all over can we have Hodgson instead???

On stv news Sanchez distanced himself from it anyway thing is he would be another who saw Motherwell as a way to get himself in the public eye/shop window and after 7 managers in ten years the club do not need this far better for an upcoming coach like the man Gannon fromStockport or Chisholm who has something to prove.
