Everton duo extend their stay

Motherwell loan pair John Ruddy and Lukas Jutkiewicz have increased their stay for another month whilst their futures are discussed further.

johnruddytraining04.jpgBoth are wanted on a longer term basis and the club will discuss the possibility with Everton during the transfer window.

General Manager Leeann Dempster said, “This extension gives us a little bit more time to get things sorted with Everton.

“We are very keen to keep both players but with the January transfer window promising to be busy for both clubs, this gives us a safety net to ensure the guys can play in our vital matches this month.

“John and Lukas have done exceptionally well for us in the first half of the season and they both enjoy it at the club. It’s now a case of thrashing out a deal with Everton that works for both parties.”

One player leaving the club is French defender Yassin Moutaoaukil who has returned to Charlton Athletic after three and a half months in North Lanarkshire.

Everyone at Fir Park would like to thank Yassin for all his efforts and wish him every success in his future career.

Great news that the deal isn't dead in the water. This buys us some time to get a deal done, fingers crossed.

I assume most folk won't be bothered to see the back of Yassin, especially as Hateley can play there very well.

Great news. Gives us a chance for a permanent deal for both. Thats my opinion I think we will be looking at £500k for both the players on a permanent basis with future add ons and selling on fees to Everton.

Would be delighted if this was to come to fruition. also if its for a month makes it harder for any other team to step in and buy them.
