  1. Given that's Ranger or Celtic on telly every week, I doubt that would change if those games were televised in June or July.
  2. Social media team needs to pass the time while we don't have any new signings or new manager to report. Seems like a decent idea to choose him.
  3. The averages in the Championship are heavily skewed by the newly relegated teams on EPL wages. Still some great wages to be had though with the right team, but lots of players in the "lesser" teams earn closer to 5 or 6 grand a week.
  4. That's sounds like ChatGPT seeing his surname and having an AI hallucination.
  5. For a buying team that uses data driven recruitment, it should help.
  6. If Glimour wasn't injured, what was Clarke going to do to stop England pinching him? Whatever that was he could have done exactly the same and picked MIller or Baron. And if you're a player happy to be pinched by England, I don't want in you a Scottish team.
  7. From what I remember they used to keep shifting their debt around from individuals to financial institutions to investors, without really paying it down.
  8. An impressive achievement to top an impressive season.
  9. A remote medical from the NZ team's camp in San Diego? Even if he was going there - which I doubt - no way we'd set a price until after his World Cup is over.
  10. I remember when McCall tried to sign Çiftçi he said Dundee Utd were offering double what we could afford. I don't know if they are still as generous, but I doubt when Tony Watt left us he moved there for footballing reasons.
  11. If there was ever a league that was AP's level it's that one. He scored 17 in 25 the season before he joined us and was in the A-League team of the year.
  12. i take that story with a pinch of salt too. It might have happened differently to the reports, or it might never happened at all, but there's no doubt a few of the unhappy players went running to the media to dish what they perceived to be the dirt, so they could try and get rid of him.
  13. Collins, I think, was slightly too far ahead of his time to make a positive impact on the Scottish footballer mentality at the time. Cathro, by all accounts, wasn't a great man manager - although that might just have been people who didn't like his ideas being snarky. JBA was obviously a great communicator and man manager, and that is essential when you want to implement new ideas.
  14. Nobody at the club, fans or Board, seems to rate him. I understand that sometimes players aren't always a good fit for a particular team or system, but given the way Celtic like to play it feels like an obvious choice to keep him (and start him).
  15. Because he was on 6.5k per week and should have no trouble getting that in Toulouse.
