  2. There is no need for paper tickets in this day and age surely -or if there is there should surely be a choice that you can get a paper or a digital ticket. Not offering a digital option is ridiculous in my view Fans have to pay to get tickets posted out or go to Fir Park to collect. A digital ticket makes much more sense
  3. I don't mind paper tickets too much, but I like to be able to choose my seat where possible.
  4. Wilson's loan only runs until January - although they are often extended.
  5. I think a return clause can be in any loan deal but that any return can only be made in a transfer window. So January is the earliest Wilson could be recalled. There can be an exemption for goalkeepers if SPFL authorise emergency cover. But that does not apply to outfield players. Scottish youngsters can now move back and forward as long as they are loaned to a lower league Club under the new Partnership scheme. Raith are not our 'partners' so that rules out that possibility.
  6. He did but went back to Millwall at end of season. Now back permanently
  7. Surley that's what training during the week is for.
  8. Since you mention money I came across some figures when I was trying to find out exactly what European success for us and others meant financially. Also worth noting that Uefa altered things to ensure Clubs do not incur a loss as I believe we did visiting Russia. Will not change folks view but it is a factor. Others may know differently but here is what I found. Our embarrassing exit to Sligo was horrific but we received £434k from Uefa for our 'efforts'. Maybe that helped to ease the pain, at Board level anyway. Reaching the Conference League Group stage guaranteed Hearts £2.6m before they kicked a ball. Surely reaching that stage is a target we should aspire to? The season Celtic had a decent run in the Champions League our payment as a result of their success totalled £1.6m. Almost 25% of our total Turnover that year. It used to be that the rewards for Scottish teams' success were shared with lower league Clubs who supported qualifying youth set ups. But now all the cash is shared between only those top division teams who meet the youth criteria. Like us. I understand some top tier clubs don't qualify. All the more for us! The dilemma for me is that enjoyable as it was watching Celtic and Rangers crash and burn in the qualifying round, it cost us dearly. Hibs, Hearts and Utd as well but to a lesser extent. I accept that success for those Clubs in Europe adds to their Bank Account but the impact on us is massive. Given the financial gap that will always exist, irrespective of who progresses in Europe, I believe Motherwell are in a more competitive position if all Scottish clubs progress as far as possible, or even better if we are one of those clubs.

  10. I won't disagree. Plus the fact it's paper tickets - someone can correct me if it has to be paper tickets for the cup games but it would drive you mad
  11. Their Chief Executive has lost the plot.
  12. Difficult one when you put it like that but I don't like our game being a laughing stock. Whatever we think money is the main factor nowadays and football especially in England bores me mow. Maybe if clubs had to play a certain number of home grown players , you could back them a bit more.Did feel a bit sorry for Hibs though but they lost some really soft goals late in game. I kind of wanted Celtic to do well up.until the final against Porto but the lack of Scottish flags , being diplomatic there, in Glasgow that night made me change my mind Rangers don't look close to doing anything so shouldn't be an issue
  13. I like Ox. He has made a few mistakes in the past, but he is a big unit that generally commands his box and very good shotstopper. The only thing Im unsure of is how good he is with the ball at his feet. His distribution was better than Kelly's, but thays a really low bar and what JBA wants from his keeper is way beyond that. Be interesting to see what happens.
  14. Tickets are on sale. However, no mention of how many we got and no map to select your seat, so pot luck if you are open to the elements or not. Really fancy the game, but not sure Im gonna pay £25 to drive all that way for a potential soaking!
  15. Re the Ox vs Ward debate, has everyone forgotten how well Ox played before the injury? Albeit he did make a couple of errors but he has saved us countless times as well. Unless the injury has somehow degraded his ability I'd be perfectly happy putting him back in.
  16. We've made new signings as well. It's going to be tough but it's winnable.
  17. Will be very tough game with them. Especially with new signings. Will need to be no gifts from defence or keeper. Probably loose the cup one and draw the home tie.
  18. St Mirren Killie is 22 for adult tickets
  19. He did. But he was back at Milwall until last night. Hence why they have been struggling to score goals as they only had Yengi and Sockler.....
  20. Aye that would certainly make sense.
  21. I thought Nisbet played for them all last season?
  22. 😂 apparently I tend to hit the n key instead of the space button but normally I see it and correct it but since I haven’t finished my coffee yet I’m obviously not very alert.
  23. Is that our Greek left back? 🤣🤣
  24. Pretty sure we could recall him as he's still our player
