  1. Past hour
  2. I wonder if a team has ever went a whole season unbeaten and not won a game ?
  3. He was on bench v hearts, I'm sure, so must've been fit last week.
  4. As much as Ward is decent on the deck and a potentially good No2, we need a goalie who can use his hands so I hope Ox is back. touch wood slattery is fit and the international players come back uninjured. striker is a concern for me and I still think AP is the best we have but I’m sure JBA will know more than any of us by watching them in training over the next 2 weeks to make a judgement call. a win is a must
  5. Dundee looked pretty toothless against United yesterday. But they did defend very well at Ibrox, so could be another 70% possession game with the onus on us to break them down. Wouldnt expect us to lose this one, but a lot will depend on whether we can create more clear cut chances and take enough of them to make sure we can cover any more mistakes at the back. Hopefully Slattery hasnt been sold / isnt badly injured and can be available and Hendry/Said/Osong/RCC are another 2 weeks along the road to full fitness. Id put Ox back in goals.
  6. After the international break A wee trip to Dundee must win Will JBA give OX a game? It would be grand to get the three points. We are playing good football and I think we’re doing ok we are getting a team to match our bowling green pitch as Chris Sutton said in an a recent interview. COYW
  7. Today
  8. Rumour I heard on Saturday was that both Slattery and McGhee are out for up to three months.
  9. A few of us have had to do it ourselves Allan. Not very pleasant. BYOD (Bring your own Detox).
  10. An excellent post, hopefully in the room for improvement category we can get the pigeon crap cleaned from the stairs and seats in the POD.
  11. Yesterday
  12. Our own legend Jamie Dolan passed 17 years ago today . Brilliant player 👏 👏
  13. Hopefully the break will allow Calum Slattery to get fitness back. Sounds minor issue hopefully.
  14. Agree. Defence has been neglected.
  15. Big solid looking side they have. Lennon isn’t a wee guy either but these guys are units. I’d imagine he’ll have to bide his time
  16. It was just rumours that McGhee might have broken down rather than Slattery. But hopefully not the case
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if Miller has to wait a few weeks before he gets game time. Takes a wee while to settle in to a new league with a new style, and he wasn't match fit when he signed.
  18. Take that back 2-1 to udinese. Inter goal just chopped off due to VAR
  19. Miller on the bench tonight. 2-2 at the moment. Both teams look good.
  20. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good old fashion guess. I luv it.
  21. From what I saw today both of them looked really poor. Obviously in all likelihood they will both pull away from the rest in time given the budget difference but that looked dire stuff from the two of them. Hearts under McInnes and with the Bloom backing would be the most obvious side to challenge the duopoly and they have had an excellent start to the season (even though we let them off the hook last week). It’s certainly a very tight league and I definitely don’t remember the last time you had three teams (Us, Kilmarnock and Rangers) all drawing their first four fixtures.
  22. Not that I heard anyone say he had broken down again. Hopefully not.
  23. Kettlewells last hurrah! He was fit and back in training last week. If he has broken down again thats a concern. We havent missed him thus far, but he was a guy, I was hoping could cover a number of positions, so would have been good to have as a squad player as the season progressed.
  24. So hopefully he’s recovered and available right after the international break? That must be about 8 weeks, since the league cup games started in July.
  25. This from club website on 16th July: Jordan McGhee is set to spend 6 to 8 weeks on the sidelines with a thigh injury. He picked up the injury ahead of the first match against Clyde in the Premier Sports Cup. He has begun his rehabilitation and we look forward to welcoming him back into the squad. Jens Berthel said “It’s very unfortunate that we lose Jordan for this period of time. He’s made a very good impression in my time here. He brings experience and versatility to the squad, so he will be missed. However, he is already on the road to recovery and we look forward to him getting back soon.”
  26. Mcghee played 30+ games for all but one of the last 8 seasons or so, going over 40 a few times. So I wouldn't describe him as a Callachan style crock. We signed the latter after him being out a whole season. We'll see how this season goes, but Mcghee will be up against it trying to get into the team having missed pre season.
  27. Was there an update on McGhee? Or Slattery injury?
