Hell yes!
-
Sorry folks for reminding you all of that image. I was 15 at that game and always remember my dad putting a consoling arm round me
-
100 times this. In my list of worst ever goalies there is a huge gap between Gardiner and number 2.
-
I never think about that at all..... Except for every time somebody claims that "X" is the worst Motherwell goalie ever.
-
Hopefully they still play "Into the Valley" before kick off.
-
I remember almost nothing from that game, except the slow motion image of that moment.
-
God! I thought I'd memory-holed that image. Doesn't affect me, affect me, affect me............😱
-
Huge incentive for both teams now. Dunfermline away is not an easy draw, but its a really tasty tie at a good stadium with the prospect of a very big crowd. Should be a great away day for the winner.
-
"try and catch" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Was like a man in an oversize foam rubber costume flapping at a beach ball on It's a Knockout.
-
The way he backtracked to try and catch that cross was like a guy falling from a tall building. Horrible memory!!
-
It is bringing back memories of 1987, draw opening up but hopefully not the same heartbreak John Gardiner provided in our quarter final ! Yup...still hurts 😂😂
-
I’m sure pretty much all the teams are happy with the draw except Celtic and Rangers 😂
- Today
-
If we get past Aberdeen we have a good chance of getting to a semi final. Dunfermline aren’t that great, saw them a few times this season and it’s all effort not much ability.
-
Sponsors raging!! 🤣🤣🤣, decent draw for us
-
Us or Aberdeen away at Dunfermline with one of the arse cheeks going out. Cant complain
-
Winners have Dunfermline away
-
Clearly he’s not been reading this forum. yeah I’ll not forget the pundits, ex players and managers who were happy for us to fail and unhappy a team “like Motherwell” chose a foreign manager. Ill also not forget the ones who have been positive and some who surprised me, right from the start.
-
I was listening to Stephen Craigan yesterday and he has changed his tune very much Few months ago at half time 1-0 down to Livingston Jens changing 140 years of Motherwell history . Never going to work blah blah blah but now like every other fan Happy. High praise indeed , basically saying yesterday it is the first time he remembers all Motherwell fans singing from the same hymn sheet
-
66% passing accuracy, according to BBC. He'll have to up that if he wants to come back.
-
Aye i would be ok with that as well 😂
-
If not us I wouldn’t be adverse to Stenny winning it with an Olly Whyte screamer 😆

AYE

We have a manager who fears no one and is passing it onto the players. Beating Celtic at home was memorable and to do the same to rangers woukd be incredible COYW

I don't think our momemtum will be too bad as, in effect, we have only missed one Saturday game, and our next one is coming up midweek.
