  1. Past hour
  2. I dont condone violence, or threats of violence. The opposite in fact. However, its quite telling that the SFA have come out and blamed fans and the media for their "employees" feeling under threat. You cant present in such an incompetent manner and not expect criticism. The fact that a few nutters decide to behave, well, like nutters, doesnt mean we should all shut up.
  3. The contortions Collum finds himself in trying to justify decisions would be hilarious if they werent so serious. He knows the rules fine. But the irony is, that by continuing to defend his referees in such a manner, he strips them of any remaining credibility that they have on a monthly basis. The public can all see that the Emperor has no clothes. Unfortunately the Emperor has absolutely no idea that he is standing in front of thousands naked.
  4. Most people think that about them but the SFA is a cosy wee corrupt clique that thinks its untouchable and can do no wrong, their sense of entitlement and the "we are never wrong" attitude is unbelievable.
  5. Collum points out that the KMI panel is unofficial and not part of the SFA, which is true. He then explains its purpose is to stop folk claiming his lot are 'marking our own homework' - which would be fair enough, if they didn't simply ignore the KMI panel's opinions whenever they want, and award themselves a big gold star.
  6. Today
  7. Wednesday 16th May 2026 Motherwell 2-3 Celtic On 22nd May 2026 The Scottish Football Association (SFA) Key Match Incident refereeing panel ruled that Celtic should not have been awarded a last-minute penalty in the above match. On 29th May 2026 The SFA’s Head of Refereeing, Willie Collum said the decision to award a last minute penalty to Celtic in the above match was correct. Does the SFA Head of Refereeing not talk to the members of the SFA KMI Panel? On this evidence, clearly not! I wonder if they realise how stupid and incompetent this makes them look.
  8. Yesterday
  9. Collum and his troop of useless twats should be taken out the back and disposed of before they embarrass Scottish football any further.
  10. Yes, it was down to Andrew Dallas. He was very assertive and definitive In his comments to John Beaton, despite the fact that the images he was looking at were far from conclusive. A classic case of rerefereeing. That said, John Beaton should not have caved in. t that
  11. Beaton checked fuck all at that screen. Dallas told him what to award. A clear case of VAR refereeing the game. Collum is a lying prick of the highest order. The end.
  12. I switched off when Collum referred to the Motherwell shirt as ‘yellow’ in the Longelo incident - sums up how in touch he is with Scottish football. The VAR review is not a show I tend to watch but even in 10 minutes of viewing, you can tell an explanation has been concocted to align with the VAR decision. Dallas being so quick and definitive to call handball from limited angles in the 95th minute of a title deciding game will never sit right with me. The more you hear from the SFA unfortunately, the more it smells.
  13. It’s smaller than the Motherwell area in terms of population, but thats academic.
  14. Sam Nicholson has one strong hand to punch it 20 yards!
  15. The Asst VAR questioned if it was a clear handball also. Its similar to the Just tackle at Parkhead where VAR is giving leading statements and when the ref raises concerns to them, they are batted down.
  16. Yes and even at that, his hand is within his body shape and is only there because it was pushed up through contact with the Celtic player so it could not be a penalty anyway. Och, why do we bother? The referees make it up to suit their agenda and it's getting more and more blatant. I'll renew my ST to see The 'Well as usual but I'm even more certain now that, when push comes to shove, our game is rigged.
  17. I switched it off...I cannae listen to the clown
  18. No acountabillity, or responsibillity, made up shite to justify their incorrect decisions week after week and nothing ever gets done, its embarrassing, no wonder Scottish football is seen as a joke.
  19. I was thinking exactly that. Would be a great move for him, and Toulouse could not doubt afford his wages.
  20. Not just that but Collum saying that its a pen because his hand is in an unnatural position even before contact with the Celtic player, but if it stayed there it wouldn't have hit his hand then would it? It's only the contact that changes where the hand is to then hit the ball. Honestly man can physically see him doing mental gymnastics on the spot to try justify that.
  21. It is time for Collum to be removed from head of referees. The guy just craves attention and only continues to contradict and cause confusion. He offers no leadership and accountability. Its time the clubs acted to remove him.
  22. It is clear from that that Beaton simply erred on the side of caution and gave the decision in Celtic’s favour. As I said, that tells us nothing that wasn’t already obvious. Beaton is compromised by Celtic and is scared to go against them given past experiences when he has. There was nothing “clear and obvious” about that incident yet VAR thought it was enough to intervene and Beaton obviously had made his mind up to award the penalty as soon as he got the shout, hence the almost immediate awarding of the penalty. Like I said, the whole thing stinks.
  23. I got the impression that Welsh enjoyed playing for Askou. Although he was clearly fully committed to Motherwell I'm not so sure he would want to return now that Askou is away. Would not surprise me if Welsh ended up in Toulouse
  24. Having watched the var replay, Beaton clearly still doubted whether it was a hand ball. So not clear and obvious to him by any means. Again Collum making it up to fit the outcome. He contradicts himself time after time. Another joke was Collum standing by the decision to allow the Newell goal. That is as clear and obvious error as you will see. Even Newell was laughing at it standing. Oh, and apparently leaving the ground to launch a two footed tackle which catches the shin is only a yellow card. Must bear that in mind for next season. But really, did we expect anything else.
  25. Just seen the video with var audio, Beaton literally asking VAR to tell him what to see, "does it definitely hit the hand?"
  26. I thought Welsh was excellent last season, but if we can't afford him, there are other football playing central defenders out there. Just not a market we have explored during the Craigan/Hartley years.
  27. He’s hasn’t got a chance of playing for Celtic next season who will probably be looking to offload him so they should be willing to let him go for nothing or run the risk of paying him to train with them for a year but knowing that lot they’ll probably ask for funny money for him.
