Big shout out to the well fans who turned out and for creating a great atmosphere along with the packed away end, love it when fir parks like that.
-
Because they're not mutually exclusive. The ref might have decided it was "normal football contact", whatever that means this week.
-
Thought our captain was the best for us. Gordon was solid. Welsh had his moment much like Falkirk game and it cost us. Longelo good going forward, not so good in the other direction. Nothing new there. Slattery pressed well but on the ball was lacking. Said was ineffective apart from forcing the og. JT did nothing of note apart ftom back heel leading to goal. Just energy was back until he got booked. Some heavy fouls on him quietened him down. Priestley battled and Watt tried to play in a packed midfield. Ward was playing as Samson. Overall 6s out of 10 with our captain being 7. Tho he was lucky his crazy attempt to stop the hearts guy missed or he could have been sent off.

We need to agree to differ on what we see as outstanding
-
It was and the worst we've played against them. We were due a slice of luck against them.
-
No penalty so why was he not booked for diving, i bet he wont see a 4 game ban for simulation or whstever Slattery was done for, usual shit house refereeing agsin.
-
Any game we dont lose, we are outstanding, especially against the potential champions tonight, we were always trying to get forward and were in their faces, and looked threatening when we did, we defended very well, Ward never had a difficult save to make even when Hearts were pressing hard we looked solid. So all in all i think an outstanding performance is a fair assessment of how the game went

I'm pretty sure he knows what he's saying. What's the use of pointing out any technical, tactical or performance issues in an interview?
-
Not the word I would use either but perhaps from the point of view of digging in and not getting beat? I’d say that’s the best I’ve seen Hearts play against us this season.
-
I'm not saying he should slate them but there's no way we were outstanding .
-
He'll be working on the issue in training, but I'm all in favour of managers backing their players in public. We might not have been at our best, but we found a way to get a point against a Hearts team that's very difficult to play against.
-
Can't agree with the manager that we were outstanding.
-
Found that unbelievably stressful tonight, we just didn’t get into a rhythm and that second half performance was not like us at all. Watt was doing my head in, kept putting us under unnecessary pressure by giving the ball away in really dangerous positions, he’s been doing this more and more. We Oscar I thought was overrun as well, he’s did ok against a strong midfield but I think his lightness showed in a game like this. We needed Fadinger. I hope we have him and McGinn back midweek as we will miss Welsh. anyway as someone mentioned earlier, a point against the top of the league side who has had a lot of luck this year and to not play that well…. Fair doos. On to Celtic now… let’s see what that brings.
-
Worth a point. Game of few chances, bit sloppy at times, looked a bit weary, hopefully we have one more home performance in us this season.
-
Exactly. In that case the Hearts player lifted his hand up and diverted the ball but I’d give benefit that he was most likely naturally just protecting his face.
-
I think we Came out ok today with VAR probably our worst performance of the season from stats point of view. So not too bad when your worst stats performance gets you a point.
-
And is still rolling...
-
Kyziridis can easily ride the challenge, but throws himself to the ground
-
Or the hand ball in the box that VAR did not bother looking at.
-
Nowhere enough contact for a penalty. Nor was ours at other end. You could just as easily say it was a foul on Welsh at their goal because of contact - that wasn’t a foul either.
