Pretty much as you’d expect tonight with the strongest team starting.
-
You should have sent that to Jens on Wednesday morning

Some big results there today. Really surprised that hearts got a win, they are huffing and puffing and getting results…. Can’t stand them but fair play. results also didn’t go in St Mirrens favour so hopefully we can make it more miserable for them tonight. Robinson isn’t good under pressure either, hopefully the wee angry leprechaun will combust at the side of the park tonight.
-
Hearts win gives us chance to open up 11pt gap on Falkirk with game in hand. Also 8pts clear of Hibs who are at parkhead tomorrow. Huge incentive, COYW

Barring something bizarre like going into Admin, it is impossible for us to be relegated
-
Agree, while not mathematically confirmed yet, realistically we are a top 6 finish this season. 4th spot is ours to lose so we should be aiming for top 3 finish. Which is not Pie in the sky because we have shown ourselves to be the best footballing team in the league this season.
-
Kipre.......kipre!!! Puts Ipswich 3-2 up away to wrexham. It likes a Hollywood script............wait a minute 🤪
-
Aberdeen have now conceded in 13 straight league matches, 26 goals in total and I'm sure you can work out the average. [EDIT} Make that 27.
-
Cant see Utd or Aberdeen winning all their remaining games upto split. Hearts doing Hearts things. Falkirk better team but Hearts find a goal from nowhere. Hearts and Celtic are poor teams who keep getting the results. Luck? or what? Football is weird.
-
Yes
-
Right , so it's the season after this one, we lose a place?
-
Totally agree, I just would like to get into Europe for the money and potential trip, but you're right , it's just a carve up for real, man city etc...thank God for teams like bodo glimt
-
If results stay the way they are this afternoon then a win tonight all but secures our top 6 place and no relegation. As Aberdeen can only get a maximum of 49 points, Dundee untd could get 50, but we are currently 31 goals better off so they are not catching us.
-
Cheers pal, that was what I reckoned also.
-
Getting beat 2-1 at HT now too. Not that I take any pleasure from that as it’s just another reminder that they are fucking rotten and we blew it in true Motherwell Cup tie fashion the other night.
-
Thats how i read it, it either of the ugly sisters win the cup, 3rd will get EL Q3, and 4th and 5th will get Conf L Q2.
-
Aberdeen down to 10 men for DOGSO. Dundee score the penalty. Ha and feckin ha.
-
So 5 teams qualify this year? If scottish cup winners are old firm then 5th place gets into europe?
-
Falkirk tearing it up against Hearts today. Playing very well. whatever happens and if the top 6 finishes with the teams as of now….. it’ll be a phenomenal end to the season. Football wise us, Falkirk and Hibs are better football sides and will be taking points off of the current top 3.
-
I'd say we were about 40/60 to finish top 3. All depends on our away form.
-
The thing that annoys me most about the Champions League is teams that win their domestic title but have to enter the competition at qualifying rounds. Meanwhile, other teams that finish 2nd or 3rd enter later in the competition. I know the competition has been dead an buried as a proper Cup since the big teams ganged up and decided getting knocked out in a early round wasn't fair to them (or their bank balance), but they could at least have all the Champions qualify automatically and enter at the same stage. I used to really enjoy the European Cup when it was 2-leg straight knock out. as it felt like a genuine competition. Now it's just yet another league that's manufactured to ensure the big teams win and are further enriched. I barely watch any of the games these days.
-
Same for me, Hearts win to stop Falkirk gaining momentum. If we look after ourselves then hopefully 3 above us might drop points plus old firm play each other next Sunday
-
I agree, if Falkirk win and we win, anything is possible. I see and hear a lot of our fans this season becoming more positive which is brilliant and refreshing from the traditional doom and gloom merchants.
-
My ambitions are more modest. A Hearts win. We won't finish in the top 3.
