  1. Today
  2. Celtic fans are better at rushing fire exits to get in without tickets than their team are at stringing three passes together. We should be looking to pump them.
  3. Yesterday
  4. Tyler Magloire playing for Port Vale when they knocked Sunderland out the cup today.
  5. I don't get along to many games now Dave but I'm still Motherwell through and through. Take care .
  6. This is a one off season . Enjoy it because the Gaffer and players will be away at the end of the season. It's been brilliant and not finished yet coyw.
  7. My view is nothing has changed since 1980...back then fans were wearing flares, now they're throwing them...I've waited a long time for that one. They did blame booze back then, think everyone knows that wasn't a major factor
  8. There is absolutely zero chance of strict liability being enforced Dave, whatever the outcome the ugly sisters dont want it so the SFA / SPFL will just go ok then and quietly drop it.
  9. I don't know. I didn't think we were ever in with much of chance of winning the title and had completely dismissed that possibility and ignored all chat about it. As for the top three, the odds are very, very heavily stacked against us and again I'm focused on finishing 4th. As Wellfan rightly says though thats ours to lose, and if we finish up up in 5th place then thats what we'll have deserved, no less and no more. An achievement in its own right.
  10. I don't think that helped Grizzly but I think on the night, Aberdeen would have beaten any 11 we could have fielded. Their luck was in and you simply cannot beat that, no matter how good you might be. Weeyin has just taken the words off my keyboard. You need a lot of good luck to win a cup and St Mirren have that precious quality in spadefuls. It'll take a good but, more importantly, an even luckier team to stop them winning a second cup.
  11. Going down to 9 men blew it. When it was 10 v 10 we were well in the game. Also, we had what everyone agreed is our strongest 11 start yesterday, so no guarantees. I keep saying you need a slice of luck to win a cup. St Mirren's pen award is a great example.
  12. We've gone from winning title chat to struggling to finish 4th. I mean we're still just 5 pts behind Champions League qualification. Long way to go for chat, in both directions.
  13. I know i am going to get dogs abuse but hey that's seems to be the norm just now but with Falkirk, pars, buddies/Partick and an average sellik team.left in cup I just wish Jens had put full team out against dons rather than changing it and bringing in an inexperienced goalie...Sparrow left back...Gordon and RCC. I genuinely feel this was our best chance in years and we have blown it. Anyway that is just my opinion so if you don't agree then fair do's
  14. As far as I can tell, Celtic fans invaded the pitch first. Anyways, both sets of fans behaved shockingly. The main issue that will worry the Scottish Government and SFA is were pyros used? If not, its unlikely that strict liability will be enforced.
  15. A points deduction for both sides would do nicely. Leave us fighting it out with Hearts for the title. Will never happen but it might actually be the only thing that would stop fans from jumping on the pitch. Not going to get holier than thou about it right enough given that our own fans have previous for this in the play off's.
  16. Yesterday’s result was just a huge disappointment even although I’ve been expecting a defeat to come along at some point. When compared to our new normal performances it was not what we’re used to but I give Dundee some credit for that. Fair do’s to the team and JBA for trying different tactics in the second half, much different than how we normally played. Caused a lot of goalmouth scrambles and on another day we might have got a few goals. I thought when we did score we would at least take a point but we were not able to ( or decided not to) switch back to our more controlled game and be patient as there was still 12+ mins to go. We Continued to persevere with the alternate tactics that got us the equalizer. Despite what we consider to be a sub par performance we still dominated the game so, while very disappointing result, I see no reason to change what we have been doing all season and this is just an expected blip in the road.
  17. This game should be more open and better suited to our style. Not sure if some of our players had an off day yesterday or Dundee defence just killed all the space, maybe a bit of both. If we get usual performance levels from the likes of Just, Said and JT we can get something from this game. Having said that we also need to be a bit more alert at the back when we have the ball. I’m assuming Sods and MCginn for CBs and Sparrow at RB? Would be good if Johnny K could at least make the bench.
  18. Never commented on yesterday's game as I was gutted . 24 hours on though we should be heading to Celtic Park with the mindset of giving this mhob a very good game and keep this great season ticking along
  19. Both will get fined a small amount and it’ll blow over after a lot of finger pointing as usual. Rangers may get a bigger fine as one of their fat fans wobbled on and had a pop at a Celtic official but sadly… that will be it. Rangers will blame the schools system and things will role on to the next poisonous encounter. my main take from that game was Celtic made almost zero chances in 120 mins and their injury position looks bad so this bears well for Saturday.
  20. Ok somehow I missed the majority of Celtic masked fans but I’d still apportion punishment not based on number of fans on the field but how far they went from their end. wither way we’ll have to wait and see if the SFA do SFA or actually take some action.
  21. I am agreeing with MJC! (Jeez unbelievable) if sellik fans don't come on pitch then I don't think it escalates but 2 wrongs don't make a right. Despise both clubs and their ultra fans are just despicable. Could be a horrible position that we might need sellik to win cup to guarantee us European fitba
  22. But there were considerably less Celtic fans in the ground than Rangers fans. So it was surely to be expected that more Rangers fans would come on the park in the event of a pitch invasion? And “a good number of them masked” in reference to the Rangers fans who ran on the pitch? So we just going to ignore that the majority of the Celtic fans who invaded the park were also covering their faces? Check the footage on STV/youtube and Twitter if you want. I’m not going to say much more. Other than…”Hello there, Hello!” to anyone who blindly and blissfully subscribes to the idea that “Rangers get everything”. Hiya, hiya pal (to needs to hear this the most!)
  23. Because from what I saw one group was worse than the other. Both clubs need to be punished but I’d say Ramgers should be more severe than Celtics
  24. Really??? That’s your argument? We’re heading into the “if yer pal jumped aff the bridge, wid you”?
  25. If the narrative set by the media is that it’s mainly one set of supporters that caused the problem and someone speaks up to suggest that there were faults on both sides then what’s the problem? As you said, two groups, so why should only one particular group be focussed on more than the other?
  26. That’s my view. Yes some Celtic fans were on the field mainly confined to celebrating around their area. The Rangers fans, a good number of them masked, ran 100 yards+ to confront the Celtic fans. I have no time time or leaning for either of them so my opinion is based solely on what I was watching in the TV.
