Isn't that how Hampden normally allocates tickets? By releasing new blocks only after the initial ones are sold out?
-
Had a look on St Mirren site and looks like they don't even have the option of the map to select seats. Not a ST holder, so got mine this morning, but can understand people being pissed that they can't select seats they want, especially if the other stands aren't going to sell out anyway. Looks like initital South Stand allocation is sold out (likely because it was one of the few initial options) and F1 only has about 16 left.

Maybe down to the SPFL? Club will have been told which sections to release and when.
-
It's Motherwell vs St Mirren. I imagine you'll get the ticket you want a couple of days before kick off.
-
Only Motherwell could make general allocation better than season ticket holders! Logged in at 10am last Thursday and could only get I5 or behind the goals. Logged in at 9am today and sections D were available on other side of pitch.

I lived in North Yorkshire at the time and drove up specially for the game with a couple of English mates who I had "persuaded" to make the 'Well their Scottish team. The drive home was about 3 hours and we were still soaking wet when we got out the car at the other end. -
Was that the 1990 cup tie? When it went 4-0 my dad and I headed to Supporters bus as was about a 20 min walk, absolutely soaked. Not a happy day
-
Too true They've never stood on the Gorgie Rd terracing soaked through as you lose a cup tie 4-0. Still stayed to the end. Been there got the t-shirt, nearly dry noo.

Absolutely, my old man RIP who would have been 80 now if still here , and my uncle who is now 85 and has been going to Fir Park for 70 years roughly but not at many games now would have been queuing up at the ticket office previously This digital era we live in can be a pain for some folk , it is not going away now though of course -

I understand why there is a push for it commercially. But there should always be an option to to pay cash and get a physical ticket. Not just at the fitba either. -
The bosses at Hampden live in a totally different dimension to the rest of us. Not in touch with the real world , never had to que for a ticket or to get into a game for decades if ever. Corporate meetings and freebee trips is the norm. Much like it has always been for the top table in our game.

Tam Cowan on BBC Scotland just now talking about the ticket fiasco , Hampden app etc I Must admit even in this day in age someone should be able to walk up to the ticket office and purchase a paper ticket The whole online thing is one thing , but there are people in this country who have never been online in their life , and might not be able to rely on someone getting them a ticket , so decide against going -
A sacrifice to make as they would leave the stadium to suffer no more jokes resulting in only well fans in stadium and buddies players got mo backing Sorted! 🤣🤣
-
Anyone notice anything farmiliar in this video?
-
Might be the St Mirren fans that panic. The fear being that he cracks a few jokes to keep them entertained.

Yep that's it. I used a transfer ticket for the Scotland game last night and had no issues. Even the scanners were straightforward and user friendly. Took seconds to get in. Easy. Just remember the QR code will not activate until the morning of the game but the ticket will show up in the App well before that. You'll know when the code is active because a wee line continually circles it. Proves it is the original, valid code and not a copy. You can transfer a ticket before the code is active. I have one sitting waiting on activation on Sunday morning.
-
And then panic when they arrive and you see they are in the St Mirren section.

Not a former player, but well done Dougie Morton manager and partner raise £18k in memory of baby daughter
