Fined for no postponements? Even the SFA wouldn't do that, surely?

Dundee spent money on their pitch close season. Its looked like a bowling green all year. They can hardly be blamed for a weather system coming in off the North Sea for the best part of a week subjecting the entire area to persistent rain and snow. Also, our pitch isnt looking very good right now, despute tge efforts we have gone to improve it. Should we also be fined?

Dundee should be fined and or forfiet the 3 points, they have previous for having a shit pitch. Other teams have spent lots of cash on brining their pitches up to an acceptable standard ( no plastic, well drained, Undersoil heahing etc) yo play in the premiership, Dundee should be no different.

I would take a call off tonight allowing us to better prepare for an very important cup game on Saturday. Without the midweek double travelling and a tiring game on a heavy pitch before it. Hopefully the Aberdeen game goes ahead on a heavy pitch and they end up tierd for Saturday. Oops just seen its off.

Yup actually not that bothered, gives us full week rest ahead of 2 massive games. Would be ideal if dons game still on but fact that is a later decision is also crazy

If it’s not postponed it will probably be a mud bath and a lottery. Not a game of football so I think postponing it might be to our benefit for reasons stated in other posts and also ao it doesn’t take away from our football.

Maybe the ref was delayed by floods on the A90

Postponement would mean that we can hold a shadowy distance away from the top 3, keeping us under the radar longer & pressure off. The pundits & media wont bat an eyelid at us until we are touching the old firm. Leave us with games in hand may be no bad thing......

That is a valid point, 2 huge games coming up. The more I think about it the more I’m thinking it might have been a bit of a lottery tonight anyway on a sodden, waterlogged park,potential injuries and sapped legs as well for Saturday.

Yeh, sadly I can’t see them having a pitch inspection at 2:30pm and giving it the go ahead when it’s forecast to rain right through to kick off. Frustrating as I was heading up, but might help us prep better for the next 2 which are huge!

Tougher test tonight. Sorry to the fans planning to travel up there but I'd take a scrappy 0-0 to keep the clean sheets going. Of course a win by the odd goal would be more than welcome. Edit: just read the posts about the inspection. A postponement wouldn't be a bad result if it allows extra time for player recovery.
