I was quick to criticise Vogt after his Fir Park debut because he was utterly shite. Since then, though, he’s started to show flashes of real quality. He’s still rusty and can look a bit off the pace or, at times, like he’s never played football before, but I’m happy to see him proving me wrong.
-
Me thinks the team selection suggestion was as popular as my jokes!! 🤣🤣
-
Ye almost certainly pal that would be the case. Have a nice dayyyyyyyyyy 🤪🤪
-
I've only seen Vogt once but I was very impressed. Once he's fully match fit I think we'll have a cracking player on our hands.

The manager said at the weekend that we werent in a position to rest or rotate players at the moment due to not having completed our summer business and having a few injuries to key players. He said that might change when we get a few more in or players come back from injury, but right now, he will pick the best team available and worry about the next game when it comes. With that in mind Id expect pretty much the same team that started v Hibs and similar substitutions as and when required.

I assume that will be available here in the USA as well since I watched the first leg against HB using solidsport. Was easy purchase and decent stream quality
-
I’d think that the training regime at the moment would be focused on rest and recovery alongside tactics rather than full on heavy training sessions.
- Today
-
Playing games might be the best “training”’they can get at this time of season
-
Its three or four games into the season there is no need to rest players, the squad is thin enough just now, strongest possible team should be starting every game.

If we can get a great result on Thursday i would be tempted to rest a few for falkirk game. Not big changes but maybe start, booth, whyte.
-
Are we going to be brave and play our normal game to try and win or are we going to be more cautious to get them back to Fir Park? I wonder if our approach will be more about trying to “preserve” the squad rather than winning away from home or will we play our best 11 every game and deal with injuries/tiredness/suspensions as they affect us? While playing 2 games a week can be hard work, it’s also great for getting the players match sharpness up a few levels. I think the players can handle the schedule with rest and recovery as long as we can avoid injuries.

Imagine spending your hard earned cash looking for some entertainment and having the gall to enjoy it. Outrageous.
-
Been impressed so far and I see st Louis paid $1.3 million for him 2 years ago. Be interesting to know how much we paid. Only 22
-
Where did you see this?
-
That had crossed my mind. As far as I know, GR is a midfielder first and foremost.
-
Good point, she is a very screechy voiced bint as well. Some may say, they are a perfect match.
-
To cut him some slack he probably has to listen to Mr Rock N Roll being played in his hoose about 20 times a day!! 🤣🤣, would make anyone bitter
-
I wonder if another option for Thursday would be to play knight-lebel alongside moormann and play girdwood-reich in defensive midfield role
-
Away end sold out, absolutely superb. Hope all going have a memorable night
-
Early days but i really like AJ and the start he has made. Signings so far look really good and hopefully a few more to come in
-
So far we’ve played three games, scored 7 goals, and conceded once. You can argue about quality of the opposition and chances but arguably the recruitment has focused on what we knew, that a creaking/injured defensive setup was replaced. it’s not as if we haven’t brought in attacking players and everyone wants a striker who can “bang in the goals”. I suspect we all think AP and CH aren’t good enough and Eythor needs to get fit to judge so that’s the main gap so far. Yes we can/should strengthen in some areas but I wouldn’t call current first team operating with one hand behind the back.
-
And Richard Foster has gone to the top of my early season hit list after his pop at the fans and players celebrating after the win. Apparently we’ve won the league already….. bitter little b@…d!!! rubbish player and even worse coach.
-
When Chris Sutton mentions this and questions it, that’s when we really know there’s an issue.

At this point in time, compare AJ's interviews with the Hearts guy. I know who i would trust to progress our club.
