  2. Tonight's game sponsored by Kettlewell
  3. You can see Watt just loves being in among it. I can imagine him when he's 50, down Strathclyde Park for a kickabout, knocking the weans out the way to get the ball.
  4. Eye bleeding stuff in this playoff Campbell is the shell of the player he used to be. Watt has been the best player on the pitch.
  5. Today
  6. Just turned Gogic inside out beautifully there.
  7. Also still a master of the housery that is shit.
  8. Aye, he's still got the ability to control a ball better than a lot of people o the pitch, but he's certainly not been dieting since he left us 🙂
  9. Lennon Miller has a slightly different approach to World Cup omission than, say, Harry Maguire and family. "It was obviously disappointing not to get in the squad, but the manager's got such a tough job to pick 26 people and I know that the midfield has so many good players and it's probably the hardest place to get into" "So it was disappointing, but I'll be rooting for the boys in the summer and hopefully we can do really well." The four-time capped playmaker started for Udinese against Napoli with international teammate Scott McTominay on the opposing side. And Miller was pleased to play from kick-off having mostly been used as a substitute this term. "I knew it was going to be difficult coming to such a good league," he added. "I was never going to come in and play every single minute like I did at Motherwell, but I've become such a better player and a better person. "I'll look to next season and hopefully play more than I have this year and do well."
  10. He's been lost for a few seasons now. Lacking fitness and confidence every time I have seen him since his return to Scotland. Thought Robinson might help kick start things for him when he went to St. Mirren, but that didn't happen. Tony Watt on the other hand has lost a yard, but still very much at it. Must be a nightmare to player against.
  11. If I was the baw, I'd be staying out the road of both those teams. A hoofball masterclass.
  12. WTF has happened to Alan Campbell. Looks to be pretty much staying out of the road of the ball.
  13. Just about to sit down and watch the game
  14. The battle of multiple ex-players in the playoff tonight.

    Our New Manager

Does Micheal Van Gerwin not know more about darts than football.
  16. As we know, most of these media or bookies lists are nonsense. Scramble together some names that are out of a job, even better if we can push for someone friendly to the paper in question. Given our recent appointments & the chairmans statement last week, it doesnt look like we will be changing course. The idea that fir park insiders would spill beans to bad journos is laughable
  17. Yep, touching the line is the criteria. I will say though, this season just passed I saw a lot of players not keeping both feet on the ground and officials didn’t see it. I think they don’t pay attention as they are fully expecting that every professional player can take a throw in properly.
  18. That's one lazy as fuck list, just pulled out of their area, as expected from them. Then they type in, "who should continue the lineage of Jens, and chuck in the first Jensen they can find.
  19. Not sure what rules you’re looking at but you’re wrong.
  20. I'd put money on 4 of these not being on any list at Motherwell.
  21. Would love to see MVG as next manager. It just seems like something that has to happen once. I think he would bring a similar vibe and presence as JBA and I prefer using first letter name abbreviations rather than Kettlewell, Alexander, Robinson, McGhee etc. It feels so much more continental. I don't think he would have seriously considered it a year ago but Jens has made the club a much more enticing proposition now.
  22. They need to create a few stories, ideally with OF links, to keep the clicks coming during the quiet period before the World Cup.
  23. I don't know why the media are bothering speculating our new manager will be appointed mid june and probably won't be linked with the job until he's announced
  24. All you need to know about The Record is that they proudly announced van der Gaag as our new boss about an hour before we formally announced JBA.
  25. IFAB disagrees: At the moment of delivering the ball, the thrower must: have part of each foot on the touchline or on the ground outside the touchline
  26. Woodward and Bernstein can rest easy. Valakari: Not from what I've seen, and unlikely he'd move. van der Gaag: Jesus wept, not again. Thelin: Definitely not. McGlynn: Not sure he could take us any higher than we already are. Same old, same old, with a predictably awful record against the top 3 this season. Jensen: Who knows? And whether it's him or another new face, that's the exciting part.
