  1. Past hour
  2. If I am to believe the manager and Watts pre-match interview, there isn't a system to work out as there is fluidity and variation in the way that the ball moves out from the back. It is 11 v 11, if we can pass and move with speed and accuracy it will be very difficult to prevent Motherwell from playing out.
  3. If we bookmarked every game you said we'd lose, we would be in the 3rd division 😂
  4. That may be his name on paper, but I’m certain he goes by JT. Listen to the manager and others referring to him in interviews. He’s also our most dangerous attacker, so I guess he can be referred to however he wants.
  5. The players and manager call him JT, so did the previous managers. So my guess is that's what he wants to be called. I'm sure he'd have corrected them by now otherwise.
  6. I agree, but I do have some concern that should we lose that 1st win will become a bigger issue than it is right now. We really need to win before we lose to keep the positivity going.
  7. Think teams worked out how to play against us, being more direct and putting pressure on defence and goalie in final third. Goal we conceded today was very poor.
  8. Only if the bid actually happened, and it was for the amount the papers said. Add to that that we brought in Osong and Hendry, I'm not sure we would have replaced him with anyone good. Maybe this is more an indictment on Osong, but we clearly missed AP in open play when he was subbed off. Osong reminded me of that guy Souness signed for Southampton. JT missed a sitter too, and Said has one of those running man style perimeter monitors on his ankles, which turn his feet into cement the second he crosses the 18 yard box. So our build up play is technically working, we just need a forward that can make half chances for themselves, and take the ones the midfield hand to him.
  9. Bookmark this right now. We will not win at Pittodrie next week.
  10. Possibly, but at the same time it could go the other way as well and we get weaker as teams suss us out. As it stands we are playing some good possession football but with little to no end product and are poor defensively and always look likely to concede.
  11. There is no reason why we can't win at Pittodrie.
  12. Aberdeen will knock us out of the Cup next week, you can bet your tank on it. Most likely a draw in 90 minutes then an ET/pens defeat but we are not going up to Pittodrie and knocking them out of the League Cup. If we are going to win any game in the near future then it will be the League game against them at Fir Park in a fortnights time, but at this point in time it’s hard to see us winning against anyone.
  13. Do you not expect Motherwell to get stronger as the season progresses too?
  14. Exactly, more than capable of it.
  15. I'm starting to think that the reason I think Watt and Fadinger are so good is that I spend most of the game confusing them for eachother, even though they dont look alike in reality. This opens up many opportunities. Is one shite and the other great? are they both the same? Then throw slattery into the mix, and they're all better. Anyway, I'm going with Fadinger. Or Watt.
  16. Aberdeen haven't scored a (League) goal this season. Game certainly there to be won.
  17. We are capable of winning against Aberdeen
  18. Looking at fixtures. First winnable game is 18th October at home to Falkirk.
  19. Yes. Almost every single statistic in every game we have played so far. The most important statistic, the final result, has not matched the in game stats but undefeated after 5 games with three away from home is still a reasonable return. It has been widely recognised that we are playing some of the best football in the league. We outplayed the team sitting top of the league for 60 minutes on their patch. There is plenty of reasons to think we can beat almost anybody in this league if you actually care to give the many positives some consideration.
  20. That’s kind of what I mean about missed opportunities. We could and really should have put a fair bit of daylight between the likes of Rangers, Kilmarnock and Aberdeen yet we find ourselves more or less tied with them point wise. I would expect Rangers and Aberdeen to get stronger as the season goes on in fact they almost certainly will, Killie perhaps not so much but time will tell. We have blown wins now three games on the trot and as I said earlier the longer we go without getting a win the more of an issue it becomes. I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if we are still seeking our first win come November.
  21. Could have been watt, fadinger (anyone else struggle to tell the difference between these two?), TJ or Longelo. Went for Watt to spread my votes out a bit.
  22. I believe his fans from home call him JT but JT or TJ it's no biggie. Unless he's allergic to being called TJ
  23. It's not just us who are struggling to win - four other teams are in the same position
  24. But is there any reason to think we can actually beat anyone?
  25. I'll disagree there and say it does concern us what our opponents do. Because you get to a point in the season where you look for your opponents to drop points. Also. I respect your frustration and point of view - but others don't need to call it as you see it
