He was a one season wonder, that we cashed in on at the right time.
-
Any thoughts on ward being with us/ not being with us next season? Haven't heard anything concrete, but hard to imagine his ability to play combined with the clean sheet record going unnoticed. No idea what sort of fee he could command either.
-
Ffs!! Don't call me that.....the backlash will be horrendous š¤£š¤£

See Theo Bair has been loaned out to Swiss Club Lausanne Sport. 6 goals in 13 games a decent start but unsurprisingly he didn't have it for the French top league.
-
A victory at Ibrox would certainly go a long way towards healing the wounds from the last month. If Rangers were to miss out on the title partly because of Stephen Welsh's late equaliser at FP and because we beat them in the last meeting of the season, that would give this old Well fan more than a little satisfaction.
- Today

Likewise, Iām reasonably pleased with that. Itās between us and Hibs for 4th now. I actually fancy us at Ibrox with Slattery back and a few others back to fitness. Rangers at times today were absolutely appalling.
-
Of course and thatās why I have regularly bemoaned our inability to make chances count and get points on the board. Itās been a running theme of the season and I donāt see it changing at this late stage unfortunately. Donāt worry mate, youāll be safe from that nonsense as long as Iām around. š¤£

You're a legend....

And I despise the old firm just incase I start getting allegiance pish aimed at me

Happy with that result today. Keeps Falkirk 8pts behind with our goal difference miles better. 5th will get you into europe if sellik win cup which I think they will. Gives us safety net if hibs catch us
-
It will come from a game where we actually score with some of our chances and dont loose stupid goals. We were looking most likely to score in the second half yesterday missed two great chances then lost a daft penalty. Can't keep that up its bound to change.
-
I think that tells us all we need to know
-
Seriously dude? š«£š«£š«£

The Well Society ran a poll on VAR earlier in the season. Not sure if any other clubs have done similar, but there have certainly been similar from other fan organisations. Just needs someone to pull it all together and take it forward. If the SPFL is indeed there to facilitate the clubs, then they would have to listen. No point complaining about it if we dont try to effect change. Im sure the Well Society are well aware of and share the view of most fans.
-
Even before today it was always Hibs we had to worry about catching us for 4th and nothing has changed in that regard. We seriously need to buck our ideas up but as you say itās hard to see where the next point is coming from.
-
I think any faint hope they had of catching us disappeared at full time.

What the fuck

It was good to see them slapped right back into their box today. After being 2-0 up and getting all excited it ended up a bit of a drubbing for them on their own patch. š (Guitar intoā¦ā¦) # Ah-as I was walking by the Falkirk wheel I-I seen a local raginā Cos the Falkirk Bairns, Got skelped six-three By the Fame-uss Glesga Rainjurz #

Said was being penalised almost every time he made a tackle. The one he was booked for was a joke as well. Devlin literally fell onto the ball with minimal or no contact. When the same thing happened to Fadinger the free kick went to Hearts. You just need to watch the Falkirk game today to see how dodgy/controversial decisions change games.

The majority of this cohort of officials have been fast tracked due to the increased demand brought about by the introduction of VAR and, as a result, are overpromoted. Many of them also come across as arrogant twats, with their body language and the way they speak to players often being appalling. A good referee earns the respect of players through performance and communication, not by imposing themselves on the game or the players. Contrast our officials with full time professional referees in England, or in comparable sports such as rugby, and the difference is staggering. We should not have to accept this any longer, but it will likely take clubs collectively challenging the SFA to force any real change. That seems unlikely though, as the wagons will circle and the same group of underperforming, useless clowns will remain protected, with any serious pushback risking disruption to the league. If FIFA are effectively blacklisting SFA officials, what are member clubs and fans supposed to do if the SFA will not do what is needed itself?
-
Wishful thinking, what can mfc do realistically...I think we all see the problems but sorting it is another thing.
-
Were they using a Betamax player?
-
The KMI Panel and VAR Review should both be scrapped. Theyāre pointless exercises that deliver no consequences for those making the mistakes and no meaningful change for those affected by them. Itās all performative nonsense that does nothing but wind people up.
-
Nice excuse! Needs highlighted by media, (stop laughing at the back!) and binned if thats the case. Total joke. Clubs spending thousands and its a guy using a phone camera from miles away catches the incident.

Hendry like Cook always seemed to be injured. Hard for them to get a run in the team never mind finding form. Every signing is a risk. Can we take the risk next season on them being fit? Maybe best to try something different.
