  1. Past hour
  2. Yep I agree Great interview, hopefully does us a turn
  3. Did you type this with jobby fingers? fixed it
  4. That said he has been Thistles best player, his great run set up their goal, hes fone st premiership level but still decentin the chapionship or lower
  5. Watching the st Johnstone v partick game just now Tony Watt has let himself go, looks quite a bit over weight
  6. He was one of Killie's best players, the price we paid raised expectations, the fact we had better at the club proved it was a mistake signing him, but Phil needed replaced and on paper Shaun was a decent shout, pity we don't play on paper
  7. Today
  8. Here's a whisper then. Dylan Levitt from Hibs. Was mentioned to me earlier today by a Hibs mate who is pretty reliable when it comes to transfer info from Easter Road. Out of contract in the summer and unlikely to get a new deal. Good number of appearances for Utd and then Hibs but injury hindered his game time at Easter Road. Now fit but but with Andrews added to the mix he is very much looking at bench time, if that. If we are interested it could be more about covering anticipated outgoings in the Summer.
  9. I really enjoyed that interview. 👍 Seemed to have a little more depth than a standard pre match player interview.
  10. If we can win this one and the Dundee game away, it makes our next home game, against rangers, HUGE !
  11. I think someone had a related comment a couple weeks ago on that same line of thought but saying it’s probably to Celtics advantage to have him play for us to increase chances of us beating other teams challenging Celtic amd of course we can’t use Welsh when we play Celtic.
  12. I suspect when the loaned him to us, they weren't expecting us to be a direct competitor for a top 3 spot. One reason they may want to hold on to him is they don't want to contribute to our improvement. And I actually would see the logic in that.
  13. Could be! Then Celtic can be telling him, “it’s not our fault, it’s those Motherwell bastards who won’t pay their share of your wages”. I don’t know how the loan deals work but we had him on a season loan, with an option to recall him, obviously. However, once they recall him is that the original deal/terms cancelled or are the original loan terms still active? Maybe depends on wording in the contract? If they had any decency or integrity they would send him back to us to complete the loan deal as originally agreed upon rather than put the boy on the shelf for half a season.
  14. I was wondering if he been mutlilated! Seems like a good move for both parties.
  15. Hes celtics player and they can do what they like with him - that doesn't mean they aren't pricks. I think the longer it goes on, its a case of who blinks 1st...10k a week from now until end of May is what, 200k? Absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things to them but I reckon they're trying to squeeze us for a covering a higher % of his wage
  16. Aye but Shaun McSkimming was a starter in the same league as Brian Laudrup
  17. Every league has good and shite players. There's plenty of Danzakis in our league, so i wouldnt judge a signing on where they came from. I will judge our recruitment department on how they managed to convince themselves that Danzaki had anything to offer, though. I'm very sure we just signed him as a random Japanese player because celtic had some. Like a Serie A team signing Liam Polwarth because Scot McTominay is class.
  18. No great surprise that Stuparevic has departed as it was touted on this forum months ago. It helps to clear the decks.
  19. Fair play, we got him back to fitness and now he has time to find a club. Wouldnt be surprised to see him at Raith with Imrie since he was good for him at Morton.
  20. Danzaki was totally out of his depth. And he’s clearly an idiot. Stama just isn’t very good.
  21. I never realized that. Killie and Livi. Losses to the uglies and 7 draws. I think we have a bit more about us now so hoping we maintain our home form and improve on away results this round of fixtures. Hearts may struggle to keep their momentum going with Devlin and Shankland out for a bit.
  22. I wasn’t overly impressed with him but that was a totally different team/set up so if he impresses JBA in training he may well get a second chance.
  23. My bad! Mutualled! 😆😆😆
  24. Totally agree. A much leaner meaner squad is the way we should be operating. Be interesting to see if Robinson gets mutalled as well, or uf he will get a second chance to impress.
  25. Is that even a word?took me a few seconds to get it edit: ok I think it needed another U. That’s what put me Off. 😃
  26. I’m more hoping for incoming news but obviously it makes sense to part with players who don’t appear to be part of our future plans and either save that money or put it to good use attracting or keeping people that we need. I’m sure quite a few people will know better than me but I get the impression that we are getting to a stage where our player base has a much lower number of players surplus to requirements amd that the ones we have all have something positive to contribute to squad strength. It seems like for several years we were Lucky if we had 11 decent players to Start games and any subs or injury fill ins were always significantly a weaker option. I’d say we have a squad with some better individual players but also that JBA’s approach has made it more conducive for players to perform better on the park.
