  1. Past hour
  2. I see Celtic are in the process of signing a CB from Frankfurt which HOPEFULLY means we can get Welsh back.................... I find it wild that their fanbase think Welsh isnt good enough for them, utterly wild stance!!!! Id honestly be over the moon if he can come back
  3. The technology is definitely letting us (and the officials) down. But I guess thats what happens when you pay for "VAR LITE". But I agree with you. The inconsistency in decision making is the really frustrating thing. Not just from game to game with different officials. But also different games referred by the same official. (Yes Mr Dickinson we are looking at you!)
  4. I don't know the buying patterns of our fans. Do a lot of folk buy tickets in the last 24 hours before kick off? Certainly, the ticket office is open from 11am until ko.
  5. Agree 100%. Given his style of play and never really being a goalscorer in his career so far, it puzzled me at the time as to why he was brought in. Like you, I fail to see how he fits into the system we play.
  6. From the litle I heard from the clips, there seems to be a lot of inconsistencies in the comments between incidents i.e. was there contact yes or no/there was contact but very slight. Also a lot of shouting from the VAR team. On that evidence, I'm far from convinced that its a logical and consistent process and thats before we get to the technology.
  7. Today
  8. If the big Viking signs, Im happy to agree now! (Unless of course he doesnt actually run around smashing anyone and also cant score goals) 😍😍😍
  9. No stills? Funny that! When you see the Gassama one before it, it really brings into question how "honest" some of these mistakes are. Never bought into conspiracies before as both uglies benefit from decisions but Fadingers is a pen all day long in the modern game.
  10. We’ll probably both agree soon enough they’re busted flushes.
  11. I dont recall all these chances Stama has missed? Yes he has missed key chances, ones that would have won us more games. He has also missed a couple of straightforward ones. But tonnes? I dont think the evidence is there for that. Its clear though Jens has made his assessment and he feels he needs someone different. So best cut our losses and try get our money back.
  12. Given Hendry is injured, I think you are correct. I know we have danced this dance before, but Stama was injured for the majority of his first 12 months, so although your logic in respect of contracts is sound, I dont believe in football terms there has been a lot of difference.
  13. If either of Stama or Hendry goes this window, it’s Stama. He’s 18 months into a 3-year deal and clearly not up to it. Hendry’s only 6 months into a 2-year deal and probably deserves a bit longer, but I’m not convinced he’ll come good.
  14. The thing is with AP he has missed a ton of proper goal scoring opportunities like sitters by the barrell load so he isn't doing what he is been hired too do so needs to be replaced.Didnt really fit in with Kettlewell isolation hoofball and doesn't fit in with JBA style so no option but to part ways. Hendry and I hate to say this is utterly useless I still haven't seen anything from him on what he actually offers I actually want to know why he was brought in the first place failing to see how he fits in with the way we play. Hopefully whoever comes in can contribute a wee bit more then we shall win the league by April! Up the Well!
  15. The frustrating thing for Stama is he was bought by a manager to play a particular style and that manager then played him up top by himself rendering him impotent. He now has a manager who plays a possession based low risk game, again rendering him impotent. He would actually be a perfect fit for St Mirren alongside one of their giants. The amount of thru balls and crosses a Robbo team puts in the box would have his numbers looking pretty good. Regardless. Its clear Jens isnt for changing (neither should he) and a striker that fits our current style will be incoming.
  16. I guess with it not being on the season ticket and against lower league opposition, its not a huge draw. However, we havent been at home for a couple weeks, so hopefully a few last minute walk ups..... The Scottish Cup was always traditionally well attended. Like you say, with the pricing, you would hope for a decent turn out.
  17. Not good enough, taking into account the pens, his open play record and the number of games he has played for us his are stats are shite. He's been a waste of good money.
  18. I'd be disappointed if we only hit 5000. Our home support this season has been sitting between 6000 and 7000. Prices are decent and the Scottish Cup is the premier Cup competition and one of two trophy that are not completely out of reach.
  19. Are you sure about those figures. He's played 43 games for us and scored 12 goals 5 of which are penalties. So his scoring rate from open play is 7 goals from 43 games. I grant you still better than Hendry mind you hendry has only played 15 games. Fact remains neither are worth keeping.
  20. Yesterday
  21. This season only 2, last season probably all of them? If he'd scored some of the chances he should have this season he'd almost be sitting on a goal every other game, which would be incredible for a Motherwell player, but then we'd probably not have Maswanhise sitting on 12 either. Last season he racked up the numbers despite spending half the year injured and the other half chasing lost cause long balls with no other Motherwell players within 40 yards of him.
  22. Do we even have a song for Jens yet? Repeating it from first minute to last would send Kettlewell the message without uttering his name. Make it so.....
  23. Exactly my thoughts . Been a brilliant season so far
  24. My views on SK well known but booing him plays into his hands, hope we all focus on JBA and our own team
  25. I agree, but you never know he just might want to return home to Lanarkshire and given what he has contributed to SW they might do him and therefore us a good turn Even at his age, he looks fitter, more mobile and technically better than players 10 years younger. As a short term addition and if available on decent terms I think he would be a good addition. Hopefully wrong, but I expect one of our regular midfielders to move on this window.
  26. Looking forward to the game . Really hopeful of a Well win and progress to the next round. Hopefully not all about Stuart Kettlewell either as no doubt he will be getting stick. We have Jens in charge and a team to be proud of who will hopefully win some silverware in 2026 . Let's back the team 👏 👏 👏
