One way or another the stand won't be there for much longer so they're not going to go throwing more good money after bad.

A 30 year old midfielder who has 1 season in the top division with no resale value who you'll get 2 years out of (maybe 3 at the very most)? No, he's not worth anything like £400-500k and if anyone is daft enough to spend that money on him it'll certainly not be us.
