  1. Past hour
  2. Delighted to get into the next round Wasn't the greatest of games , but most pleasing thing of the day for me 8 home games in a row since we lost a goal 👏
  3. Oscar was comfortable all day and started quite a few moves. I was expecting him to be play more of the Watt role but either it was a deliberate tactic not to have a player building the play or he wasn’t disciplined enough. Special mention to Fadinger who injected much needed pace into game and definitely was the main reason we scored even if final touch was from JT
  4. In general, he’s rarely in the right place at the right time, and when he is, he mostly fluffs it. He’s just not got it.
  5. Yes. I agree. There were a lot of shouts from JBA for AP to get more involved. Worse than not being able to play the style of football, he didn’t seem interested in making an effort.
  6. He seemed to say that the VAR cameras were inconclusive but other footage did show it was a pen. I think one of our players ran across and blocked the view at the crucial moment. However it was right in front of the ref so how did he miss it? In his head he maybe thinks ah I’ll leave that one to VAR… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I've defended him in the past but AP was really poor today. Just doesn't look like he's on the same wavelength as the rest of the team.
  8. Aye, there's no such thing as a poor cup win.
  9. Some folk are just never happy.
  10. Today
  11. Just made a big difference when he came on and Maswanhise, although he didn't have his best game, got the goal and made the difference. However I'd go for Connelly. Made a couple of good/decent saves and looked confident playing in the Askou style.
  12. We played OK today but everything was a little bit flat. The team line up, the engagement of the crowd, the overall performance, there was definately a sense that we'd just breeze through this tie without trying. Maybe 'complacency' is too strong a word because we dominated the match but at the same time we weren't at our true levels and then when you take out the amount of quality we were missing today it was verging on being a bit laboured. We'll have to go up a few levels if we want to win a trophy but we are through and that's the main thing.
  13. I went for Oscar, a very accomplished performance. Connolly, Maswanhise, Sparrow and S O'D, of the starters, deserve mention, Fadinger and Just were standouts when they appeared.
  14. So was Martin O'Neil possibly watching Maswanhise according to radio clyde
  15. I thought it was quiet for a match thread but now I see why 😂😂
  16. A win, another clean sheet, and that is the most disappointed I've felt leaving Fir Park this season. Funny old game, as someone once said. Still, we are in the hat for the next round so that is all that matters.
  17. And also a team from sheep shagging country.
  18. Cup tie against a team who offered feck all, Connoly had 1 save to make near the end, apart from that they were never a threat. 1st half team selection was dreadful, too many changes no Just in midfield and stamatelopolous is like starting with a man down. We created chances and a shout out to Laccoviti for a brilliant block to deny TJ the opener. When Just and Fadinger came on we were a different team, and we got the goal we deserved. So another win and clean sheet at fortress Fir park, into the next round draw so all in all a good day.
  19. I see we did pass the 5,000 mark for crowd. 5,547 the official attendance and I think they said 147 away fans.
  20. TJ must be worth £5m plus sell on fee. Hibs want £6.5 for Bowie. Scottish club prices. If a epl team come in then double price.
  21. I went for the keeper. Didn't have much to do, but made a couple of important saves to keep our clean sheet record intact and avoid any extra time shenanigans.
  22. Ok probably the funniest thing I read today. Man U supporters want them to sign TJ
  23. It certainly wasn’t great and the team selection was questionable but Ross County were always coming here to make things as difficult as possible for us and spoil the game to their own advantage. They managed that to a point but fortunately we had the quality in our best player to undo their efforts. We won and we’re in the next round so how it looked to the paying punter or as a spectacle is irrelevant. Cup ties are all about winning and we did that today.
