Of course we don’t want our players doing that but my point was that he got a lot more stick than I recall any other player getting. And the officials got off almost Scot free. Had they dealt with it appropriately Slattery would have got his yellow right on the spot.

Let's not change the narrative here, Slattery was bang out of line and deserves the flak. Hes a top player too but hopefully thinks twice before he does that again. Don't mind the buying of soft fouls, that's clever but last week was bang out of line, especially when we were cruising.
