the manager was going tonto when Ewan hoofed the ball long, he got the message , didnt happen again
-
Maswanishe take a bow son ๐ Hopefully we can keep him as he is a very valuable asset I think
-
Iโve voted JT, thought Watt, Longelo and Fadinger were all very good as well.
-
Really enjoyed that tonight, so refreshing to see a style of football where we are trying to play entertaining. I thought both full backs were excellent, especially Jonny K. Biggest challenge is working out who is who between, Watt, fadinger and Slattery, like watching triplets. Good seeing Stama score and TJ 2nd goal a peach. Roll on the JB revolution

Difficult one to choose, i thought longelo did very well, watt was excellent, I thought slattery did well in the first half. JT very good and AP I thought put in a brilliant shift and lasted 90mins but I just felt fadinger has a real touch of class, been really impressed by him, even in the poorer games he stands out for me.

Aye gutted for him, hoofball clown Ps. Aye still raging ๐คฃ๐คฃ

First glimpse of the team I've caught this season. Only tuned in for the final 30 minutes and caught the 2nd and 3rd goals. Impression: You can clearly see the style JBA is trying to implement on the team, and there were some promising moves. Individually, you can see there are some players in the team eho really struggle with the idea of retaining the ball and looking for a pass. It goes back a bit to that general lack of quality in Scottish Football. It's not even just technical ability, it's also creativity and confidence. We've seen with the national team how painful it can be to watch players playing a possession game, but without confidence and quality. There is a real risk we end up going down a similar path this season. However, I've seen enough to look forward to the new season and hope to see further improvement. As many have said, anything new is better than the pish which has often been served up in recent seasons. COYW

And we are the first through to the next round!

Obviously the best performance of the group stages, kept our tempo high for the 90 minutes which you can probably put down to improving fitness. Overall, although we were better tonight, I thought all the same issues as we'd see before where still there. Thought there was a few stray passes, kinda struggled to create chances and our final ball needed to be better. And although we weren't put under loads of pressure I still thought Morton should have scored twice in the first half. Still it was a step forward and Maswanhise's second was our first great goal of the season. Lots of work on and improve on but there was signs there that we are going forward.
-
Sitting 3rd in the group right now too, behind East Fife and Kelty Hearts.
-
What a strike that was from Maswanhise for that third goal
-
More load balancing, bit more progression in our tactics and play, AP scores, clean sheet, top of the group. Now for fun, scroll back through the thread to read the complaints.
