Yep I read about that as well What sounded so much better though in the book beating the same team 3-0 at new year , then Celtic 2-1 very soon Apart from McClair at Man United scoring goals my only other memory of him was coming back to Harry's revolution 🤣 Ended up at Blackburn as assistant manager if I remember right the same season
-
Na, not having that 😂 He was my guidance teacher at one point too.
-
I think that's true, but should have been more of an incentive to ensure Feely was not re-elected after trying to sell the WS down the river and eliminate that very protection.
-
You also missed start of 82 83 season and Jock Wallace waving to gers fans .......as well manager!!
-
Aye all right youngster!! 🤪
-
Have no recollection of either as a manager as I was born in 1983 , hence the username I did however read a book by Matt Johnstone. Might have been Joe Wark knew my father Tae Season 83-84 sounded totally grim
-
Or even better sign him up to play,he would still be miles better than the guff options we have had this season.
-
I met Dougie at a wedding in 2010 when he worked in hospitality I personally thanked him for 1991 that night , which he enjoyed
-
Certainly appears that way which is disappointing given the efforts the new Board have put in since Balmack was seen off. Maybe we need an annual farcical take over attempt to maintain interest.
-
Whilst it’s disappointing, the 15% turnout suggests that WS members care less for the mechanics of the society than they do for its ongoing existence and purpose of protecting the club from nefarious/decrepit individuals.
-
I'm still recovering from him being my PE Teacher. Brutal.
-
If you think I try to tell jokes some of killie fan comments hilarious. Saying it's terrible and no loyalty but in same sentence saying style of football been terrible!! Quality

Facebook with Roger Hynd or Bobby Watson would have been interesting. I was only 6 when hynd took over but still remember him dismantling a team
-
Thanks. The 419 valid votes cast comment led me astray. 15% is a terrible turnout given that Membership details were recently updated. Disappointing.
-
Killie fans in meltdown with Naisy being linked. Lazy option if true plus no compensation, maybe wee bitter Bazza would be an option also 🤣🤣 Not Kettlewell as first fan that shouts at him and he's off (let it go grizzlyg) 🤣🤣
-
Could we maybe re-sign wee Dougie to run the club bars / hospitality instead?
-
Each member could cast 1 or 2 votes.
-
From the update I just received the sum of the votes cast for each candidate totals a fair bit more than the 419 total votes cast? What am I missing here?
-
You can find someone saying almost literally anything on social media. If we re-posted all of the wilder ravings of the worst of the moonhowlers on here we'd all go mad too.
-
Good job there wasn't Facebook in the likes of 1995-1996 when we went something like 10 games without scoring under Big Eck, or in the last year of Billy Davies Going further back than that Tommy McLean would probably never have lasted up to 1991 either if the club hadn't seen what he had been trying to build I did read the one as well about Dougie Arnott at the weekend , legendary player he was but for anyone to suggest him as our new manager is ridiculous comment to make
-
We played some good football during the McCall/Brown era but lost massive amounts of money. It's simply not an option as a club model in the modern day.
-
Aye, very low turnout - especially when you don't need to even leave the house to vote. For all the members that complained about Tom Feely's approach to the takeover bid, he was only 15 votes away from re-election. That's how close a low turnout can make things.
-
Hi All. Just a wee quick note to thank everyone who took the time to vote for me. Was not to be this year and congrats to the 2 guys voted in. They will do a tremendous job. I’ll be back.
-
Totally agree with more stability at the club both on and off the field, we should be building a team to last instead of replacing a majority of players every year. The problem with youth is that from an academy of say 15 to 20 players you will be lucky if you get 1 or 2 that make the grade to become 1st team players. If they are good enough they will get their chance but we will always need experienced players to form the bulk of the team, this approach is pretty much he same for every team in the league

🤣🤣🤣. Yeah that's it. The all comments section is wild!
