Can we please get an option for everyone
-
They were better for the first 20 mins or so, but I thought we picked it up after that. Better, of course, is relative, because they only had 1 shot on target over the 90 minutes.
-
Don’t think McCann was far wrong that killie were the better side until the red whether they could keep up the tempo in the 2nd half is a different story, offside goal was marginal & they hit the bar good result & we’re defo missing watt feel like the big boy up front could touch the ball 3 times a game, movement looked good but we won’t put it in for him
-
He was on the bench. I think with the way the game panned out he wasn't needed and it let us put 1 more of the youngsters on.
-
I'm OK with a manager sticking up for his players, especially in Killie's position. He wasn't correct. They set up in a way most of us weren't expecting, but I thought we had regained control some time before the sending off. Even if the goal counted, I think we had enough to go on to win the game.
-
Agree on Longelo. Not man of the match but a much much better performance from him. Also thought Slattery had a much better game today. Going for Just.
-
We started slow probably lucky to be 2 up at HT between the disallowed goal and the header of the bar but second half when they went down to 10 we used the ball really well and scored 2 more good goals. Bjorgolfsson reminds me a bit of Van Veen so hopefully he comes good in time.
-
Probably just part of his recovery to full fitness. No point in overloading him so soon.
-
He was on the bench so maybe just making sure he didn’t get Crocked by Killlie player.
-
Yes. We are brilliant and that was easy.
-
Priestman again for me, but I could’ve given it to Slattery or Just. Plenty of good performances today.
-
Might have missed it earlier but was there any reason for McGhee missing today
-
Just for me. He always seems to have time to turn and find room to make a pass. Well supported by Fadinger, Priestman and SOD.

Was out wondering about Los Cristianos this morning before the game. Some arse in a Celtic top shouted to me as I walked past that 'that boy mashoney had signed for them this morning for a mullyin pounds'. Imagine my relief when i went back to the flat to watch the game and found out he didn't mean Maswanhise 🙂 Tough first 20 mins or so but after the disallowed goal, the opener and the sending off, it was all us. At one point in the second half (think it was still 2-0) I thought we were going to end up with 90% possession ! Been here since 7th Jan and my Motherwell top is undefeated so far. Hopefully that keeps up at least until I go home 🙂
-
Neil McCann saying Killie were the better side up until the sending off and the poor refereeing decisions against them has made me feel even better about the mauling we gave them.
-
Sweet
-
I thought in the first half we were goading them in a little to create fouls and to get control i think from 1-0 it was all us. Think if kilmarnock keep playing as they did today theyll have a great day out to Ayr beach to look forward to next season
-
Priestman for me, thought he had a great game hes getting better game by game. A special mention for Longelo he was back to his early season form.
-
Just was all over the park and has learned to shoot. Went for him. But considering we have lost our potential player of the year in Watt and have not missed him. Lots of credit must go to Priestman for that.
-
And surprise surprise he never did, he hardly touched the ball when he came on, big Thor showed more desire to get on the ball in 20 mins than Stamatelopoulos has done all season.
-
Elijah Just.
- Today
-
Best thing that happened today was Kilmarnock scoring. Thought we were a bit jaded looking and a bit slow in the initial stages and Kilmarnock pressured us quite well with their physicality. The VAR decision also got the crowd going and maybe that had something to do with the quicker tempo thereafter. Fantastic goal from Elijah Just to open the scoring and he was outstanding overall. Once we took the lead the performance got much better and the red card really sealed it for us, 10 men against this team is pretty much a death sentence. Considering the pitch and the fact that we've been missing two key players in Welsh and Watt it was a strong performance once we got over the initial slow-ish start and in the end it could have been more than the 4.
-
Absolutely Brilliant again today 👏 superb An absolute Demolition of Kilmarnock there
-
If anyone wants to go on a spying mission, Olly Whyte starts for Stenny on Alba in a few mins.
-
Killie tried their best to do something about that.
