Gordon was poor at livingston so there's every chance mcginn might come in,we really need to start getting a settled backline playing together whatever happens.
-
Hmmm tricky one. I would definitely start Gordon on Saturday so maybe best giving him and Welsh another run out together. Johnny K or SOD another tough call. Keep Slattery on bench for this one but possible start on Saturday for maybe Said?
-
This is my concern as I bought 10!!, will get them transferred and have my 2 mates come in with me. Stressful though, going to be nervous enough at the game
-
Do we start McGinn or Gordon? Might depend on what Utd attacking players are like? I don’t really know much about them. Kotroumbous or O’Donnell ? does Slattery start? If so, who drops out? we had some below normal Performances at Livi but I’m hoping it was the surface amd that our players are back to firing on all cylinders.

League Cup Semi Motherwell v St Mirren 1/11/2025

Sadly, if it makes things cheaper for the commercial entity involved, then all that other good stuff you've mentioned often just goes out the window. -
Totally agree. If anything it’s making a stressful environment even more stressful. I’m just concerned we’ll get to Saturday and the 5 tickets I’ve bought for folk without smartphones will hopefully be on my phone for me to scan them in. If it was just me then I’d deal with it but I’m responsible for 4 others getting into the game.

Technological change and inovation is only effective when it improves the user experience, makes life easier, better, more convenient etc. I'm not convinced this ticket process meets any of those criteria for every supporter.
-
Not sure how much difference PPV makes to a crowd on a Wednesday night given how many fans are season ticket holders these days. Most overseas fans already have this included our MFC TV subscription, so not much benefit there, but I imagine a few Utd fans who can't travel will take advantage. I suppose the thought behind it is that it will be a net gain to the revenue, but it's unclear under what circumstances we can even offer PPV to UK based fans when other games are being played at the same time.
-
Thanks for that update. I've been trying to understand a technical reason why a ticket bought through a club isn't immediately visible in the Hampden app. Guessing data not transferred in real time from one t'other. 6 decades ago anaw we could put a man on the moon

Last week goal was given by ref & lino, that is to say tackle was not deemed to be a foul. Their boy just bounced up to be fair didn't roll about dying swan routine. Just's header there given by ref & lino, VAR said hang on I'm not having that on my watch.

Ah the unbookable Callum McGregor.

And you can add Dundee Utd, Hearts & Hibs to the list of post '91 winners who beat an Old Firm side in the Scottish Cup Final. Specifically, Rangers, for all 3 of them. Not forgetting Raith Rovers & Kilmarnock in the League Cup. -

Absolutely no assumptions being made here. But the point was made that we havent been winning finals since 1991 because we always come up against one of the ugly sisters and other teams that have won trophies in that time by luckily avoiding them. Just pointing out there has been an outlier....... -
I see the club have announced that the game tomorrow will be available to watch on pay per view for £11.99. A great option for overseas fans etc but its hardly encouraging fans to attend matches, pay say £50 for a ticket, travel and food etc or £11.99 to sit in the comfort of your own home, aye a tough choice.
-
I assume you're not going to the game then, as that sounds like a waste of a ticket.
-
You need to actually be in the final to have a chance of lifting the cup and we won’t be because we won’t get past St.Mirren.

Aberdeen beat Celtic to lift the Scottish Cup 6 months ago. It can be done...... -
At least we can't face a BR Celtic in the final again. Also, the Celtic fans were all in tears in the stands in MoN's last game v Motherwell.

I was meaning under Rodgers but totally take the point about O'Neil -
He's not managed for years , the Celtic squad is collapsing around him, Schmeichel, McGregor and Tierney are probably the only quality players he has, its a joke hes even getting involved at 73. If we are going to win a trophy again this season is our best opportunity for a long time, so Saturday is massive for the club.
-
Really disappointed we don’t have Celtic now on Saturday with their new deranged pensioner manager.

A major disappointment is we never beat them once under his management. I cant stand him. - Yesterday

In January? I don't think they can recall him outside of the transfer window. Goalies have different rules.
