  1. Some scene from the Odd vs Brann game yesterday where Sondre Solholm was in a one on one chase with a Brann forward when he pulled up with a hamstring injury. Incredibly the forward stopped running instead of carrying on clean through to goal and put the ball out of play. It was 0-0 at the time.

How would we have reacted if a Motherwell player did the same?

They might not be bad guys, but they make a substantial portion of their money when players move, so it's certainly in their interest to keep their clients active. Then the discussion becomes are they acting in the best interests of their career or their short term finances.

If you were an agent that was going to make £10k from a player extending a contract at Motherwell or £30k from a signing on fee at Exeter City, then a lot of the time it's going to be cream teas all round (jam first, unless you're a serial killer).

Exeter is in Devon so it's cream first. Don't want Max making enemies on his first day!

  3. The Sean Goss thing will be taken from their own rate your player thing for each game. More often than not Sean Goss gets voted top in that not because he was our best player but because the voting system is easily manipulated by those who wish to skew the result, and probably not Well fans. I've seen average scores around 5 or 6 for everyone else yet Goss get 8 plus. The BBC man of the match thing for fans is purely a bit of fun and in no way scientific or accurate.

  4. Hopefully not too much tombola involved in the line-up but Slattery must be picked. He's the only midfielder who comes back looking for the ball and plays passes to players strengths, ie feet. Otherwise we're just going to have to endure 90 or 120 minutes of aerial bombardments and there's enough of that going on in the world.

  5. Nice to have insight into the production processes. Just makes me wonder how Loch Ness FC manage to get such distinctive kits (new Euro Finals 21 out soon) with such a small fanbase. Produced by ZN sports their current home top had to have several re-ordering runs due to it's popularity.

The last time we went 11 without winning it was 19 years ago and we finished bottom of the league.

I don't even know if we've gone 12 without winning, probably going back to 1991/92 or the mid 80s.

We need to start winning not matter who we are playing or where we are playing and that latter point is relevant as we have 6 away matches in the next 8 matches.

A good result would be huge, a defeat would be.....worrying.

According to Wiki, yeah, I know.
