2 goals for Jacob Blyth for Barrow today a good win for them at home to Salford
Could have played all day at Fylde and not scored. Utter garbage, but we know that. Barrow also gave a run out, from the bench, to pensioner Steve Jennings.

Highlights show Mbulu barging after the goal, and the referee clearly watching from a few yards away. Violent conduct or just a yellow, obviously I'd have gone yellow.
-
Thomson almost forgot to send him off till Morelos reminded him.

We're not bottom. Err, that's it?

I'm hearing the game could be in doubt as Livingston still don't have any power following the outage there this week.
Surely not.
Not according to their Twitter...| Our team and Scottish Gas have been working hard to fix the fault which caused the power outage at the stadium this week. We now also have a generator on site to ensure that even if the power drops again, we're covered. Saturday's game against
@MotherwellFC is not in doubt. -

It came up on skysports as a scorer? Was sat watching with my old fella and checked to make sure it was the same player.
Double checked on Barrow's site, Red card, no goals.

A certain Mr Steve Jennings who we still haven't replaced plays his football there and scored t'other night.
Nah, didn't score, made his debut as a second half sub, picked up two yellows and was sent off.

Hartley with a needless free kick.

Anyone got any idea if this game is all ticket for us and if so does anyone know if the ticket office is open tomorrow? Been working away and club haven’t answered my tweet or email.....
Looks like a bit of a shambles. My son is travelling up from England for the game and went to buy a ticket online today to print out and they are not available! Quote : No longer available online or sold out. There's still ages to the game so print at home tickets should be available and not everyone can just pop into Fir Park for tickets.

Russell Griffiths signed for AFC Fylde. Strange because he'll struggle to displace the regular keeper and Fylde don't tend to have a reserve keeper on the bench (only 5 subs at this level).

Whilst there is the odd gem, that League is piss poor.
Just have a think which players we have brought in from that league.

Zaine Francis_Angol player of the year at AFC Fylde as voted for by the supporters.

Did I imagine it, or did they announce him as "Turnball" on Saturday? (As well as not bothering to have photos for Aldred and someone else, who I haven't bothered to remember ).
Not only announced as Turnball but listed on the scoreboard the same way!

Luc Nijholt played as a ringer in that tournament, played under the name of one of our youngsters presumably so we could get a good look at him. I recall it being mentioned before about the kits being slightly changed on the collars from the ones used in this tournament. I'll have to try digging up my pics, I took one of Davie Cooper who stopped and posed for me during a game.

Unusual away kit with the Admiral logo on the sleeve. I’ve been to a few Isle of Man tournaments, however, none featuring Motherwell. Anyone go to this 1990 tournament?
Yip, I was at this tournament.

Isn't Hendry also cup-tied? Means there’s a greater likelihood it’s Ajer and Boyata, and he’d certainly have a field day with that pair
He is indeed cup tied.

Nah, Thistle Accies this week.

Just watched the highlights and I think Thomson has given the red card for the initial challenge. When Kipre steps over Brown with his right foot, he seems to stand on Brown's right thigh. It looks clumsy and accidental but when you see Thomson's positioning on the field it is a possible explaination.
Very harsh decision regardless.
It is NOT for the initial challenge. Look at the video, Thomson doesn't react until the "stamp" that he thinks he sees. He runs past the initial clash then goes back to it.

That can't be right, for what ts worth I think it was a red card as you cannot use your feet in that way, remarkable that Brown went un-punished
Thomson suggested it was a stamp, which it obviously wasn't, so presume he has sent him off for violent conduct. If so, he needs to look at the laws of the game as there was no excessive force involved in the clash. This should have resulted in a yellow card. For both. "Violent conduct is when a player uses or attempts to use excessive force or brutality against an opponent when not challenging for the ball."

I think that goal has generally now been credited to Main. The official SFA site give it to Main. I find it hard to see how any source could have given it to the goalie especially with live TV evidence there in front of them.

Gutted they are putting the first down as an og. Had Main and 2-1.
Still buzzing though. What a goal to win it!
That has got to be Main's goal, no way did the keeper score an own goal.

Local evening paper down here gave Louis 7/10 saying "Good shift on his Championship start".
-
He was only 21 when he left us. Now that he is in his third season of playing regularly he is a far better player than when he left us. Plenty of good players in non-league, we got Bowman, Moult and Tait from National League.

He has really picked up since the start of the season, fairly solid defensively and getting better and better going forward. Could definitely do a job on current form, particularly in a wing back role.

Great goal, great ball from Frear.
