Kieran Kennedy played for table topping Macclesfield at Fylde yesterday and went home after a 6-0 tonking.
-
All ZFA at Fylde tonight as he picked up a man of the match award (deservedly as well). Also featured in the programme with his five best moments in football and all with Motherwell so nice coverage for us and pics and all referred to as 'we did this' or 'we did that'.
His first goal, against Thistle.
Playing in the Champions League in Greece.
Playing in the Europa League against Levante
Scoring against Celtic.
Finishing second in the league.
Obviously he hasn't had much else to choose from, though I thought he might have said being picked in the National League North team of the season last year.

Zaine Francis Angol on the scoresheet for AFC Fylde, although even he couldn't miss from two feet out.
-
Saw him managing Stockport at AFC Fylde a while ago.
-
Robinson is under contract till 2020, not sure where we'd find the money to pay him off.
-
Blackpool are so far up shit creek financially that it might not take much of an offer to acquire him permanently. The manager doesn't think he's going to have any money for the January transfer window.
-
It looks like Griffiths lines up right behind his wall for the first. Then is beat by a pretty shite shot.
Made much clearer on the Alba showing. Griffiths takes a step to his right as the shot is taken. If he'd stayed where he was he'd have saved it easily.
-
Here we go again with more deliberate elbow red card shite.
-
Well done to my wee team holding their more illustrious opponents to a draw despite conceding possession and chances. Now lets hope my big team do the same tomorrow although there's no hope of us getting a penalty.
-
Looks very soft, it's on the Pie and Bovril match thread.
-
As for the appeal leading to review of earlier tackle, fine by me. Kipre is still banned - but so will Dembele be as his challenge on McHugh had intent - violent conduct for Dembele is a 3 game ban, reckless conduct by Kipre is 2 game ban. That is the laws of the game.
Dembele's challenge was seen by the ref and adjudged to be a yellow, intent or not, so won't be looked at again.
-
I wonder if some conversations have been going back and forth. Maybe it was suggested that if we appealed it then the compliance officer might be tempted to have a look at the earlier foul by Kipre. And, of course, if we won the appeal then Sinclair would have to get done and the Cup win would be tainted.
-
The Sun are reporting that Sinclair will not be cited for diving and also that we have not appealed the red card. Astonishing if true.
-
We know what happens next. Sinclair gets a ban for diving. Kipre gets card rescinded then, to appease the Celtic fans, gets a retrospective one for the tackle on Dembele. And Thomson gets away scot free.

I thought they changed the last man rule?
A mix of emotions just now, very proud of our efforts today. Dreading watching the highlights, from what I hear it was never a penalty.
Wait till you see it. Unbelievable.

What a result!
Just back in from it and think I was nervous for the full 90. Moult second goal just wonderful.
What's the deal with yellow cards? Think Moult has two now in the competition....please someone tell me...
All cards wiped after quarter finals.
-
Awesome performance, not one weak link in the side.
-
Kevin Clancy, I'm led to believe is the ref. Altogether now, say Aaaaaarrrggghhh!
-
Haven't seen any of it back but if Tait's yellow was wrong it can be appealed
Don't think yellows can be appealed unless it's for mistaken identity.
-
Let's aim for four sendings off this week and get the game forfeited, it's important we keep a level of consistency, while also improving our card count week on week.
Onwards and upwards!
Need five off to get the game forfeited. Worth aspiring to?
-
Yes, we can appeal on the grounds it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity. Keepers handling outside the box is not an automatic red card.
-
Millimetres indeed and could easily be argued that a tiny part of the ball was above the line hence technically in the area so could be picked up. Not a definite goalscoring opportunity either so, in my opinion, not a red card offence. Too many doubts and not enough certainty for Thomson to make his decision.

As far as Carson's red goes I think the club can clearly argue that nobody could say with certainty that the ball was not in the box. Like with corners surely the ball does not necessarily have to touch the paintwork but 'break the line' above it. Also, keepers no longer get automatic red cards for handling outside the box but only if they are preventing a clear goalscoring opportunity. This was by no means a clear opportunity.
For Dunne's red we are back to the 'accidental' argument, if he even touched him at all. Under the new interpretation of the rules this could have been dealt with by a yellow card in my opinion. I think the club would be entitled to challenge both cards.
As for McHugh, that was just foolish.

One more and games abandoned, let's go boys.
Would have needed more than one. Game is abandoned if a team go down to six. Remember Hearts having four sent off at Ibrox a good few years back.

Another goal and Man of the Match for ZFA. In a rich vein of form at the mo, looking good in left wing back role.
