  1. Well, Polworth the Lanarkshire Kante (why Kante get a game?) also fits into the latter category presumably.
  2. Or a 433 with Hastie on wing, leaving a midfield three for us with zero height whatsoever?
  3. Goddam BBC and Tommy Wright with his ‘mind games’ eh? Foley and Lawless starting for us...
  4. Lafferty definitely out for today’s game according to BBC Radio Scotland sports reporter this morning.
  5. Polworth has turned into a bit of a Kante recently...
  6. Interesting article from Modern Fitba on SPFL midfielders. Mark O Hara a one-trick defensive pony, Alan Campbell very similar to Polworth *and* ideal for Celtic... https://www.modernfitba.com/blogs/2021/2/13/using-machine-learning-to-find-players-in-similar-roles-in-scotland
  7. Jamie Semple recalled from loan at Cove.
  8. Look at Alexanders track record himself of playing at a high level until his late 30s, if anyone can get the best of of Foley it'll be him. We clearly need extra bodies in central midfield, so if he can do a job, no issues my end.
  9. Good shout but looks like Ndjoli is now surplus to requirements? We now appear to be a bit overloaded in the front three department...
  10. He has a £500K release clause (from a very good source) and is on the Gers radar in case Morelos departs.
  11. As a fan of a certain vintage, would agree there’s nothing better than beating Hearts, but our game management in terms of timewasting and shithousery in the last few minutes was outstanding, with the red card the icing on the cake. Beating the decades-long masters of the Dark Arts at their own game - priceless.

    Vs Hibs

Really pleased with that today. Donnelly for me, goalscoring apart, really is starting to contribute well as a midfielder, thought that Campbell and Polworth were also outstanding. Hartley the old warhorse is back, and probably merits the first team spot. Wingers ain’t the finished article but, hey, could we afford them if they were? Canny complain with two goals, Days like today make the ol’ Motherwell rollercoaster worthwhile....
  13. Ben Hall just signed for the Jags until January
  14. Only in a metaphysical sense...
