I stuck with the card. Have you had the instructions to generate your digital ticket, I assume it is a QR code? For the League Cup games I am not sure if your season ticket record gets updated or you get an additional code. It would be good to share that information when you find out.

I think it’s the white trim that puts me off, it has grown on me a little but would have been better without the white.

If the buy back option after two years is likely to empty the WS coffers what would the situation be at the end of the ‘protected’ 6 years. The club could be sold to anyone or asset stripped. What happens after the 6 years if the model has been successful? Would this mean that revenue streams have increased and no further investment is required? What is their exit strategy?

I suspect he signed the extension a while ago and not just as a parting ‘gift’. If he had been out of contract at the end of May he could sign for Rangers immediately, no 2 week gap. The window is a period for registration, not for employment.

How different is that from standing across the road and buying a ticket online, then crossing the road and scanning in?

If any investment is not transformational I would use that money for structural improvements sustaining the club for the future. The playing side would be financed by what it can generate in gate receipts, sponsorships and prize money. Lifting the cost base of the team above what is affordable once the investor is gone would be problematic.

This has consistently been my position too, what happens in the end? I can get on board with the recent chat about a partnership, an investor can put his money in and use us to his advantage, a marketing ploy, a commercial venture or just bragging rights to his chums (good luck there). But his project is likely to be a 5 year or at most a 10 year one, what happens then, how does he get out, is there an agreed exit, what if he has made no money? If he wants to take control he needs to invest some serious money, say £10M, but what does this mean? It means he owns a company with £10M in cash, who is in control of that cash, him? He could pay that as a dividend. I am happy for us to be exploring this concept but the outcome needs to be a strong club because we will still be here when the investor has gone, (and so will Bevis presumably).
