Im slowly beginning to find myself getting annoyed with Gannon (although i'm still 100% behind him) due to his post match comments. I dont get to many games due to work commitments, therefore i get most of my information from here, the interviews on the official and the highlights. Surely 6 months into a job a manager has atleast a rough idea of the best tactic and line up to acheive some results. Also, in my opinion, a rebuilding job as gannon has called our situation needs a good solid grounding before he can properly start to stamp his mark on the club and our philosophy. To me Gannon isnt giving himself a chance to get this with his constant tinkering and seeming desire to make enemies wherever he goes, the media, referees and supposedly now his own players. January is going to be an important month for our season. A couple of wins against Hearts and Accies and cup progression against ICT, along with Ruddy and Lukas staying on and the whole situation will seem a lot rosier. Hopefully Jim will soon reaslise what is needed to allow the club to stabalise and head in the right direction. Cheers, Dez

Nah, I don't think so. The Clarkson and Quinn deals were already afoot before Gannon was announced. With the out of contract guys, as big stall says, mid table SPL for 1-2k per week or league 1/mid table championship for 7-10k a week and that's before sign on fees etc! Cheers, Dez

Hopefully a good chunk will be given to Gannon to rebuild and mould a squad of his own. Couldn't agree more! I've never been john boyles biggest fan but the last 18months or so he's been slowly gaining much more respect from myself. From the cooper coming back, to (hopefully) getting a decent wee transfer kitty together for our new young, seemingly impressive manager to mould his own squad with! I'm not claiming to be a football expert but I can't see how Boyle is doing anything but a good job at the moment! Cheers, Dez

Possible news here... out with my dad just now and he's says he saw Luc Nijholt getting out of a car in uddingston main street yesterday afternoon..not sure if thats anything to read into or if he still just spends some time in scotland? Have we actually been linked with Imrie? Would probably take him at Fir Park. O'Brien and Imrie on the wings could be a decent prospect and bring out the best in Sutton! I don't know if we could to be honest mate. A reasonably consistent keeper, who at one time was in the Scotland squad..albeit breifly. With our budget who else would you suggest we bring in? No one in the spl jumps out at me that we could afford! Cheers, Dez.

For me buzz has been one of best and most consistant performers this year..yea some elements of his game aren't the best but shot stopping he is right up there as one of the best in the league! With our budget we're never gonna have a keeper who's perfected all elements of his game! I'm confused about the original post though..yea we know buzz is almost certainly gonna leave but why mention him throwing a dart at a map of Scotland to see where he ends up?? Yea 3rd and 4th in..5th if the cup winners are in the top 4 and then the team with the best disciplinary record if Scotland stay within the top 3 nations..before the Celtic game we were top of the fair play league thing..one yellow card better off than st. Thought he was shite tbh...The JVoH/Craigan incident was one of the most ludicrous decisions ive ever seen!! And the replays from the TV make it look an even worse decision. (think they'll show that on scotsport... ) Havnt seen much mentioned about Hinkels flying knee to Clarksons head in the first half after a foul by the other Celtic defender. Didnt really get a good look at it but any idea if it was deliberate?? I heard it was just his momentum that carried him through onto Clarky. Cheers, Dez

Think I'd start with Lasley in for Hughes and have a solid combative midfield of Las, Klimpl and Fitzy to try and stop their creative midfield. I'd go with Cillian up top with O'Brien and Clarky either side for some creativity out wide, hopefully supplying the big man for a few goals! Obviously hoping for a win but due to both teams being on a good run I could see them cancelling each other out and it finishing 1-1. Hope I'm wrong though and we fucking shaft them!! Mon the well!! Fantastic result today! Could hardly belive it when I heard the score at work considering utd's recent form and our record at tannadice!
