  1. Tom tom left before we sold Phil? Cleishy Mac was our king by then.
  2. The issue with the main stand is that it's layered (built over the previous stand) and they spend a shit ton of money just to keep it open, it's also had Bob and every other builder trying their luck with various improvements, it was well past it's sell by date in the 90's and the window dressing done since then is just that, I doubt much will happen because the costs of refurbishment would run into millions.
  3. It started dignified until he put the Scotland job into the club's hands. It felt strange at the time and still stands out to me.
  4. We went on a bit of a run after playing Dortmund, one of our best for years, so of course it had a bearing on the league season.
  5. The lettering existed before our club crest.
  6. You still had to put the ball in the net, without looking, were games higher scoring? Also per era these guys outperformed others, producing the goods is producing the goods.
  7. I was pulling names from memory to compare with Melvin Bragg's list of recent strikers, apologies for missing the obvious, it was late.
  8. I never said this was definitive, more of a through the ages glance at forwards we had, tried to include each decade, but I wasn't doing the knowledge, interesting to see the ratios of GPG, if I truly gave a fuck I'd do a deep dive and look at percentage of team goals for each season and total goals scored, but I'm on holiday so, martinis for breakfast it is.
  9. Hughie Ferguson would be worth 100m with that return, tragic story and the man who sclaffed the FA out of England for the only time in it's history.
  10. Stats, fucking love them. 11. That's not negative, that's facts, we were rotten, have had rotten seasons even with decent returns from strikers, to return to your point, we don't 'ALWAYS' find strikers, we have purple patches, probably more than we statistically should have. And no, I'm not MJC, I don't believe in fairy tales.
  12. Except 83-84. lowest league scorers and a 15 point haul. Dark days
  13. Met Peter at a lot of the Motherwell reserve games, he's better company than Tom Boyd
  14. I was pretty sure you declared yourself COS years ago when discussing religion on here, meh. It's just a good old fashioned dose of self loathing
  15. Pish, took my son to his 1st Rangers game, the one O'Donnel scored and we lost 3-1, on the way out waking past their fans with my then 7 year old only for one of them to donkey punch his mate straight to the ground for discussing the game 'I told you to rap yer pish and not talk shite' They are both the same, your COS leanings towards protestant leaning teams is telling.
  16. What rule? Telling someone to get to fuck is against the rules?
  17. That was homophobic nonsense that had been reported, I don't read the forum every day so reports are acted upon, and you weren't banned, just warned iirc
  18. So it's not Shovel face as some would have had you believe.
  19. There's no arguing that you're a roaster, just saying.
  20. Give yourself peace and get to fuck you absolute roaster
