  1. I like Cifti and I would be quite happy if we were able to get him on a year contract and see what he can deliver with a full pre-season behind him. I couldn't agree with the "fat" suggestion but he does look like he's towing a caravan at times. There certainly hasn't been the glut of goals that I think most people remember from his time at Tannadice and associate him with then but as he's said himself he's a different player from the one who played with Dundee Utd and is playing with different players in a different formation with very different tactics. And yet no great pace, no glut of goals but when he, Main and Tanner were all involved there was some good and productive link-up play between the three which boded well before both he and Tans succumbed to injury. So aye, I'd be glad to see him back if a deal could be worked out. In terms of the weekend though, that's a different matter and quite a poser for Robinson. If he's available for selection I'd be inclined to start with him and Main and use Bowman's energy later in the contest. I tend to think it would be easier for Ryan to adjust to the pace of the game than for Cifti. If things aren't going too well and we have Bowman on the bench at least there is something there to change the game if needed. I'm afraid I don't yet have the belief in Newell or Petravicius to do that at the current stage of their development.

  2. Need to listen to it to find out. That's some quality trailering from Busta right there.

  3. The big game player as you put it is rapidly running out of chances to prove himself worthy of the accolade, since he left Dundee united he has been brutal. I have no doubt the talent is there but whatever is going on with him it's not showing, anytime I see him he looks unfit and uninterested. He will never be back at Celtic and based on what we have seen of him at Fir Park I would punt him in the summer as the money could be better spent elsewhere.

  4. Watched the under20s game last night and was keen to see how Turnbull played, and left disappointed. None of the players on view covered themselves in glory, despite the scoreline, in particular we defended incredibly poorly and our goalkeeper was easily the man of the match.

  5. Any time I have seen Crawford play (in person or on telly) he has been Accies' best player. His form might have dipped recently, but I'm not surprised given the agricultural style they have adopted on that abomination of a pitch. I'd much rather we expanded our style to include guys like Crawford than bring in more of the same who struggle to pass to one of our players 3 times in a row.

  6. That was amazing. Magnificent. Whenever someone runs at him though I have the fear.

  7. Harsh and I suspect tongue in cheek especially after that tackle on Sinclair recently Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk

  8. Guys like Willie Miller and, especially, Chick Young were stale and well past their sell-by date when I left Scotland and that was 2004 now. Sounds like it is absolutely stagnating Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  9. Try these for size? Why is it disappointing? If something you've read on Facelessbook is to be taken as fact we already have more than our core support there for backing with over a week till the match. History shows outnumbering the opposition doesn't win you the tie... We need to remember tickets have been offered for sale during the Easter break when many have gone on holiday. Club don't seem to be sweating over it, so unsure why some holier than thou are? Better reserved for those who wish to be there rather than day trippers.
