Every single player put in a great shift today so hard to single one player out. Main is the obvious choice with his running and 2 goals. However, for a guy who has barely featured this season I thought Liam Grimshaw was absolutely outstanding. His gutbusting run to close the Aberdeen goalie towards the end typified the entire team performance and his fistpump when subbed and celebrations after final whistle show he really gets us and buys into the ethos of what the club is about.3 points

Does this Well Society membership pay a dividend, we could be quids in here.3 points

Wasting money ?????? Why would it cost us money to question where our fans would be sitting in a cup final in the so called national stadium ???? the M74 now nearly runs a single corridor from Motherwell to Aikenhead road to the east stand at Hampden and the associated coach parking Its what is totally wrong with Scottish football that we pander to the west of Scotland establishment/ press/media/old firm fans etc etc who decide a on the monopoly of where supporters sit at a cup semi/ final....it's not rangers end/ Celtic end it s the west and east stands Ffs !!!Because it been the case for the last 40/50/60years ago !!!! Unfortunately Police Scotland and its predecessors Stathclyde Police......who could not organise a piss up in a brewery when it comes to policing football as we have seen many times over the last few years as the green brigade runs riot every where they go and the ftp brigade goes un challenged on the other-side !!!! Cracking day yesterday, looking forward to the final no matter where we sit !!!! Xxxxxxx2 points

All I ask for in the Final, no matter who itâs against is a fair crack of the whip from the referee. On our Day we can beat anyone for sure.2 points

What a fabulous performance. The whole team were outstanding. There is such a positive feeling around the club its great to be a 'Well fan. Had the added pleasure of driving back home on the A90/ A9 watching all the sad, dismal Dons supporters . Living in the NE , it is going to be great going in to work on Monday !2 points

Just watching St. Brenda's comments on Sportscene "Motherwell will play a very different type of game to the one we will" ....... Let me get my Seville calculator out as it has a pikey translator function ....... it changes to "Motherwell are durty, durty bastards, protect them from my players such as Brown and Sinclair who are consummate professionals".1 point

16,000 would be an excellent turnout. Although it might have to be 15,999 because I don't think I'll be able to make it for this one.1 point

Main for his tenacity and composure when many a striker would have gone to shit when 1 on 1. Agree about Grimshaw, I sincerely hope he is going to be looked again my many fans who wrote him off (similar to Dunne). Campbell continues to impress and testament to our academy. Only player I feel a bit sorry for is Cadden, a change in our style and formation means he has less scope to breenge forward as he has. It was that part of his game that made many think he'd be off last summer and attracted plenty of interest. Playing in the wingback role has limited this and perhaps taken him off the radar of many, I don't think it has helped in his development as a player but it has helped the club and results.1 point

Also, let's not forget we ditched a lot of the top wage earners this season and brought in some cheaper replacements. Skippy, Lasley, Hammell, McManus, McFadden, Pearson, Ainsworth etc.1 point

Wouldn't hurt to give a couple of the U20s some game time, but I suspect if something did happen to one of our strikers Robinson would either try somebody like Andy Rose in there or play one up front with someone slotting in behind. Or put the cat among the pigeons and move Big Cedric up top!1 point

Good plan, following your suggestion, as someone willing to find fault in everything specialist, we can leave the talking shite to you on here.1 point

Potential slight dilemma for Robinson now it looks almost certain it's going to be Celtic. Cifti will be ruled out and with Newell's face in bits we're light for cover for Main and Bowman. If either of the two of them were to pick up an injury before the Final though that would be a massive blow. Time to dig out the cotton wool?1 point

Really determined up for it performance yesterday with 3rd goal coming at right time to seal it. like others have said i cannot believe how easy it was, aberdeen are very poor and i have no idea how they have been 2nd best last few seasons. they are struggling with christie and mclean away next year and how the hell stevie may was ever near our national team i give up. I thought robinson told rose to mark christie and go 10 v 10 and it worked great I also feel rose is more mobile in that area than mchugh and again grimshaw and wee campbell were all over the place. On another note and 1 that winds me up can someone explain to me why the 2 glasgow teams get the same end every time it is at hampden other than thats the way it has always been? This is 2018 and flow needs to stick up for us (as he always does) and ask for toss of coin to decide which end we want. I know some will say who cares but why are they allowed to choose as it winds me up. It would be so funny to see them going where they dont want and also signal that us wee teams are no longer putting up with their pish!!!!1 point

IIRC in one of the videos that went up around the time he signed he straight up said he preferred playing centre half and that's how he saw himself. The gist seemed to be that he'd only been playing full back/wing back because that's where his managers had been picking him on account of his pace. It wasn't his preference.1 point

I'd love for Grimshaw to come onto a good game. From what I've seen his attitude is without question - like Campbell, he seems like a young guy who loves his football and is desperate to do well.1 point

What a day . Absolutely Brilliant. The whole team worked their socks off, and fully deserve all the praise they are receiving. This is now a great way to end the season, Scottish cup final, will we win it.....YOU F**KING BET WE WILL WIN IT.1 point

I love Charles Dunne but how closely are you watching him? He is a clear your lines style defender, not a wingback.1 point

Now that Kipré, Dunne and Hartley are all signed up for next season, that leaves Aldred in a tough spot. Assuming Hartley is fit, those 3 are likely to be Robinson's starters, leaving Aldred on the bench. So does he commit to a deal with us in the hope we sell someone on (or Hartley stays injured), or does he look elsewhere for the first team football his performances richly deserve? Either option is a risk for him. He's been a terrific signing, though, and slotted into the defence seamlessly - as important and impressive a January signing as Main (albeit on loan).1 point

That's exactly what he's saying. Aberdeen are on the same points, Hibs are only 3 behind.1 point

I'd rather play Rangers, but I'd rather beat Celtic.1 point

Great timing. Get them signed up now while there is the excitement of the semi-final, instead of waiting a few weeks when we've been papped out the Cup and dragged back into a fight to avoid the play-off spot Seriously, though - delighted.1 point
