  1. Either way, he's got a contract next year. So, it's kind of a moot point. Looking forward to seeing him back before season end, along with Cadden, then Tanner getting a good summer under his belt.

  2. Sorry ………… But have you watched the 3rd goal Hastie is on the edge of the 18 yard box when Gillespie collects the ball from the corner He sprints 40 - 50 yards to take the throw out in his stride He then is to strong for the first defender and then drops his shoulder as if to go inside and while still going at speed goes to the outside of the 2nd defender This bit of skill is what makes the defender to do the splits and fall making him look like Bambi on ice … great bit of skill by Hastie Hastie then puts the ball throgh the legs of the keeper ………… how many goals are scored with the ball going through keepers legs ?? The highlights are on BBC web site and on official site ………… suggest you and Gazzy go and have a look and just appreciate a great bit of skill from young Hastie

  3. Two very good keepers. Happy with either if they are both fit.

  4. As far as I know he had his contract extended recently by a year to take him up until summer 2020. Our club , unlike some others in Scotland, believes that a player should leave in the same medical condition in which he arrived. He was injured playing for us and we're doing the decent thing by him. Apart from anything else that will promote the club's image to players. He was sat in front of us at NDP at the back end of last year. I hope he returns to full fitness with us - good luck to him. Its good to see MFC stick by him.

  5. But if you were an employee on a fixed term contract, would you expect your employer to renew that when it comes to an end if you were unable to hit the standards? This isn’t a charity for injured footballers that we are running here.

  6. I think if we manage to successfully fire someone who’s under contract for not being fit enough that might just open up a can of worms. Part of being in the football business is attracting players to our club, and keeping good ones.

  7. You can be sure that St Mirren will be set up to try and stop us playing.

  11. all about opinions and I take everything on board. I am always fair to players and certainly don't boo players like the ones that boo Sammon when he comes onto the pitch. I think Gorrin could be a key player but I will decide once he has had full run of games. Good job I didn't comment on Frear, he is a player I don't rate but I better not comment....COYW
