Something positive to say about one of our transfers? David Smith from Lincoln City or John McDonald from Gillingham get destroyed before they even kick a ball, however some fella with "vic" tagged onto the end of his surname gets praise, not criticism and optimism? One of the worst things to come out of the saga is the amount of vermin who are all over posts/threads on social media about Turnbull. Its his 20th birthday today and anything online is hijacked by ‘see you soon Davey Bhoy’ or the likes. Imagine their outrage if say Arsenal fans where doing that to Tierney. That's why we are able to sign guys like that. In the hope we can coach them to be better. In Ariyibi's first game he couldn't cross, shoot or take a set piece. By the time he left, his passing and shooting had definitely improved. You can improve the basic skills of a fast winger, but it's near impossible to make a slow player fast.1 point
