Completely disagree, he's a class wee player who did so much for us and I can admire him from a distance whilst maintaining my hatred for the team he plays for. I've done it with Calum MacGregor for years now.

When did Robbo ever coach tactics or formations? We are very clearly the poorest coached and worst organized team in the league.

What worried me was the body language on the touch line. Any time the cameras zoom in on Robbo he is usually bawling at the top of his voice but today he was noticeably quiet as if he couldn’t believe what he was watching. I can’t make my mind up if he has “lost” some of the players or if we just have a majority of a squad who are not willing or able to “kiss the badge” if you want to use that analogy. We were strolling about while the St Mirren guys were throwing themselves into tackles and defending as if their lives depended on it. You can coach formations and tactics but you can’t coach passion so to that extent I do feel a teensy bit sorry for Robbo although granted it is him who signs the players. Or maybe he just doesn’t have a clue or has just run out of ideas.

I think we should breach covid rules next weekend or phone Rangers and tell them we don't actually fancy this game,take the 3 points and the 3 goals,it will save us the torture of having to watch the game and save the players from any injury's.

St Midden are playing 4-5-1, to get an "extra man" in there we'd need to Levein it with a 4-6-0 or a weird 3-6-1. Formation isnt the problem. We could have 10 in midfield, if they dont follow runners & close down space they wont stop the opponents! Why do we never look organized of like we have scouted the opposition?

The shape is the problem we’re so narrow because we play 3 in the midfield that there is no protection for the fullbacks, hence they have all the time in the world to throw crosses into our box. 4-4-2

Turnbull, Hastie, Scott, McGuire, McIver have all been given their chance at some point during SR's time so I think he knows what his remit is, if they are good enough they will play.

Hopefully that team will keep St Mirren squeezed in and if we apply enough pressure we should get chances. I watched Billy Gilmour, Nathan Paterson and Euan Henderson all perform in Europe this week. Robbo should take note and be reminded that youth development is a big part of his remit.

I hate Celtic and Rangers. The only thoughts I have now for Turnbull is the disappointment that he played so few games for us and if he does well for them maybe they will sell him for big money and we will get a cut. Other than that I lost interest when he signed for them.
