All we can ask is that the boys give everything Boxing Day - Tannadice is a difficult place to come. The boys gave everything after playing 3 matches in 7 days but we have a small squad and boys not on a lot of money so how can we really expect to compete when you look at the resources? 30th Of December - It has been a really difficult period for us. Playing so many matches in such a short space of time. Look at our injuries. We're making lots of chances but it's just not happening for us. Will Motherwell win another game in 2020? That Aberdeen game was one of the most emotional games I watched on the telly. My dad had been diagnosed with cancer the day before, when well scored that goal the two of us went mad. We've stayed in the league comfortably while making profits. That says our signing policy is a success. You might not like it but its not a waste.

O'Hara, Grimshaw, Rose, Grimshaw, Ciftci, Aarons, Aryibi, Lang, Main, Tanner and Cole all did or are doing enough for us to be called successes at this level. So its closer to 50/50. I'm pretty sure you're just constantly fishing with these so fair play to you, you got a bite.

I stood right up beside my telly and played this over again but looking at a different individual each time. It was pure theatre. Faddy turned away celebrating before the goal is scored. The defenders rushed the ref when the ball was still bouncing in their six yard box. Lasley stealing 10 yards after the original taker was told to put the ball back. Aberdeen actually set up a wall. I need to go back and watch it again.

There definitely needs to be a rethink on our signing policy. We appear to trawl the market and bring in more players than we need in the hope that one or two will make it. That seems a waste of resource. Id much prefer that we scour the market, identify one or two of decent quality and push the boat out to get them in. If we have a few with experience and / or quality and supplement them with youth, it will do far more for the development of our younger players and hopefully improve the product on the park.
