  2. I think sometimes people are interpreting in Spanish. What SOD said tonight was relating to we and Motherwell when talking about taking on a wounded animal in Dundee United and hoping we could get 3 points. There was literally nothing in his interview that suggested he was not committed to Motherwell. Nothing. He may well be gone and good luck to him but I read so much bollox on here it is almost unbelievable!

  6. For those deafened by the silence Flow on Twitter: "We are looking / hoping to be doing more business by Monday night. This has, and I am sure most clubs would agree, been the most difficult window to recruit, perhaps ever, but we’re working hard. If we can get players who will improve what we have, we’ll try and bring them in."

  7. Ok I’ve had a listen. Honest interview, clearly still cares about the club, yes he sells himself to a degree ( not a problem for me). Has a lot of good things to say about Motherwell FC and for me it’s all good. Can’t really see how anyone could take offence in truth.

  8. Not only that, but whenever a proposal is made (such as more equal payments in the league) that would lead to stronger competition, Celtic are always against it.

  9. To be honest I’ve not even listened to it. He’s gone now so I’m really just concentrating on our new management team and the support they need. Robinson did ok for us and I doubt he’s said anything that’s going to cause the club any actual damage. As above I find people concentrate too much on these things and do tend to twist things at times.

  10. I don't blame him for talking himself up, if he's on about cup finals, 3rd place, Europe. But he's getting into stuff regarding players and the club that's purely designed to deflect any hint of criticism from himself. I've heard more about the inner workings of Motherwell from him in the past 7 days than I have from the last 7 managers combined. You're ok with that, I'm not, and I'm reasonably sure there will be folk at the club who would rather he'd keep certain stuff to himself, at least for more than a month.

  11. I think if I was out if work and had the chance to promote myself I’d be doing it, don’t blame him at all.

  12. Just watched it , he's fully entitled to his views , as BWF says though he did look close to tears at various points during analysis of St Mirren's win, the death of Terry Munro looks to have taken its toll on him.

  13. It seems sometimes on here that every interview current or former club employees do, some people are taking it apart and twisting everything that's said to suit their own agenda

  14. Indeed. A point I've also made to some of their support in conversation over our last couple of meetings. They're the first to whine about lack of competition domestically when they get papped out. However present them with the challenge of having to break down a team who are holding the lead and they squeal like pigs because you aren't set up in a manner that let's them steamroller you.

  15. O’Donnell nearly shed a tear for Celtic on sportscene - for that reason alone he should be gone

  16. There are a few on here that struggle with the concepts of reality and fantasy, ie expecting to sign quality , high scoring, players in the January window, and on wages we can afford. GA's only job for now is to avoid relegation, we can do the full rebuild in the summer.

  17. I think the vast majority of football clubs in Scotland are simply making sure they survive just now, any real ambition will probably be re evaluated when we all get through the pandemic. Even then I can’t see anything other than trying to balance the books while staying in the division. I know Robinson and Foyle took stick for signing players from the lower leagues down south but anyone that thinks that’s going to change under Alexander had better prepare themselves for disappointment. I think there will be quite a gap between what some supporters would like to see and the actual reality.
