I've said all this before but I think this season is a step forward from last season. There is hardly any chance at all that we'll finish lower than 10th and we have never been in any relegation trouble over the season.
For me last season was avoid relegation, this season was stabilise and next season would be to make a move forward in terms of player quality and style of play. So far Alexander has met my expectations. Whether he's capable of making the next stage of the development I do not know but it's very hard to do business during the winter transfer window and he's only had one summer window.
I stand by the manager at this stage but it's down to him to meet next season's expectations. I will be looking for better next term.
