  4. Now that everyone has calmed down and had a time to reflect there is no chance GA will be sacked and we really need to get behind the team starting against St Mirren and hope we get our win which might kick start our campaign again.

  5. Have read all this talk of Alexander and Slattery having some sort of fall out and I just don’t buy it. If that was the case he would be nowhere near the 1st team squad let alone sitting on the bench on match days. A player and a manager fallout then there is only one winner and it’s not the player. Slattery played almost every game until he was suspended and I’m sure he was one of the players who had COVID just before the break. Players nowadays are monitored every second during games and also in training. Maybe just maybe Slattery data in training ( Wee box of tricks they all wear on their backs ) shows that his energy level recovery rate are not where they were before had had COVID ……… fit enough to sit on the bench but nowhere near fit enough to start a game. Also all this chopping and changing could COVID testing have something to do with it ??? Deepest Lanarkshire is rife with it

  6. Right to ask the question, but, business model and longevity of the club will decree. The optimum to sell may well be this summer? Good keepers are plentiful South of the border - it’s how we never realised financial potential on Randolph, Gillespie & Carson. Good recruitment would soften any blow and not foist a Craig Samson upon us.

  7. I’m not convinced rumours really indicate there is a problem. People making things up is really just people making things up. Now if we had credible evidence there was a problem between the manager and a group of players that would be a different matter.

  8. Well if our fans assume people who leave are doing so because they don't like GA we must surely apply the assumption that those who re-sign must like him ... that is how ridiculous this entire narrative is. Tait ---- wasnt getting 1st team football with us and tried to play a fast one on the club when Covid struck so they rightly let him piss off. Dunne ----- was asked to go to the summer training camp with the offer of a one year extension . St Mirren gave him a two year deal so he took that and considering his injuries with us hardly surprising we didnt take a longer punt on him and having watched him for St Mirren we didnt lose much. O'Hara ----- By all accounts one of the highest wage earners , on the field was too inconsistent and spent as much time side lined than he did playing, the club / manager might just consider his higher wage could bring a better return in the summer. Watt ---- I do think there may have been issues between him and GA but who knows. Because of the shocking efforts on the park this season every scenario is amplified to crisis level. If GA resigned tomorrow Id be delighted. The only other time I was as disillusioned with the on field efforts was under Harri Kampman. However for our fans to suggest GA has lost the dressing room has actually no basis of fact. Win the next two games (which we wont a point at best) most of this will die down. Lose our next two which is more possible than winning the two GA is in real bother as we certainly could end up in the play off dogfight.

  9. He was the right back in the euro finals against the host nation so why not in a world cup play off. I think he is a safer bet at this time than Paterson although the real talent is the young man from Italy.
